Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson dealing with a neck stinger, coach Zac Taylor said.

Bengals inactives for Week 4 against Carolina: -- DT BJ Hill -- DT Sheldon Rankins -- TE Tanner McLachlan -- TE Tanner Hudson
Bengals QB Joe Burrow is looking at the table on the sideline like normal. Got stepped on by LG Cordell Volson, who was engaged in pass blocking.
DJ Turner, in for Cam Taylor-Britt, nearly comes down with a deep ball intended for Diontae Johnson. CTB promptly replaces Turner on the next snap.
Cincinnati's offense has slowed down significantly in the second half. Ryan Rehkow with a massive punt that will force the Panthers to drive 92 yards for a TD with 4:42 left to either tie or win the game
Bengals CB Mike Hilton being helped off the field by Cincinnati's trainers. Heavily favoring his left leg as he walks off.
The Cincinnati Bengals inactives list for Sunday against the Carolina Panthers once again includes some key starters on the defensive side of the ball.
The full inactives list the Bengals issued:
The Bengals had already confirmed via the final injury report that interior starters Hill and Rankins wouldn’t be able to go. That once again places major pressure on a rookie like Kris Jenkins Jr. and recent free-agent addition Lawrence Guy.
Otherwise, there aren’t many surprises of note. Last week, Jermaine Burton was active over Trenton Irwin after Tee Higgins finally returned, which seemed to say a lot about the rookie. Coaches later commented on Burton’s playing time
The Carolina Panthers of 2023 would’ve went away quietly if they faced what the Carolina Panthers of 2024 faced today. And that was a minor triumph in and of itself, even if the afternoon didn’t end with an actual victory.
Hopes of a winning streak seemed all but dead for the Panthers near the end of the third quarter in Sunday’s matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals. Kicker Evan McPherson had just booted through a 56-yard field goal, giving the Bengals a 31-14 lead at the 2:52 mark.
But instead of completely folding, Carolina fought back—squeezing Cincinnati’s once-mountainous edge into a one-possession game in the fourth quarter. Head coach Dave Canales chatted with reporters about his squad’s resilient effort in the eventual 34-24 loss
Strange but true: Since the Bengals cut Andy Dalton, he's played for four different NFC teams and each time has started a game against his former Bengals team. ?2020: Started for the Cowboys ?2021: Started for the Bears ?2022: Started for the Saints ?2024: Starting today for the Panthers. Dalton is 2-1 in those games and aiming today to go 3-1.
#Panthers WR Xavier Legette scores his first career NFL touchdown and breaks out the horseback riding celebration. Awesome. pic.x.com/aaw2jruh6d
Panthers WR Diontae Johnson, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a groin injury, is expected to play vs. the Bengals, per source.
A few #Panthers notes before kickoff with #Bengals: -Diontae Johnson (groin, questionable), who is good to go today, got extra work in with Andy Dalton this week to find rhythm and timing. Johnson had 122 yards in Dalton's Week 3 debut and likely will be counted on even more with Adam Thielen out. Dalton has been more vocal with the offense in his second week starting. -Jonathan Brooks (NFI, knee) has been running and cutting well behind the scenes. He's eligible to start practicing Week 5 and could get back in the mix soon, though no firm determination yet. But he's trending positively.

Now Jaycee Horn called for PI. Fans disagree with the interpretation. Bengals on the 1 with 14 seconds left.
CJ Stroud is a sensational young quarterback, but what he accomplished in his rookie year is exceptionally rare. It's completely unfair to expect other young quarterbacks to do the same. That's why @Money23Green and I are nowhere near ready to give up on Bryce Young.
Xavier Woods interception after all that chaos. Clowney was pressuring Burrow. Panthers ball at their own 40 with 11:28 left in the game.
JJ Jansen successfully protested a delay call since the ball was reset, and the refs picked up the flag. Eddy Pineiro hits a 48-yard field goal, and cuts the Bengals lead to 31-24 with 7:42 left.
Hubbard touchdown. Lined him and Miles Sanders up in the backfield together, Chuba came across and through the Vonn Bell tackle attempt. Tie game, 7-7, after the 11-play, 70-yard drive.
Drive stalls at the 1, Bengals stand up Chuba Hubbard three times inside the 2. Turnover on downs.
Panthers LB Shaq Thompson being carted back to the locker room
Johnny Hekker back to punt for the first time in the middle of the third quarter. Normally, that's a good thing. But until the Bengals have to, it won't matter much.
Burrow's third-down attempt batted down by A'Shawn Robinson, Bengals punting.
