Crowded Backfield Hierarchy and Trade Rumors Make Young Ballcarrier a Risky Draft-Day Bet

Entering his third season, Kimani Vidal finds himself buried on the depth chart behind Omarion Hampton and Keaton Mitchell. After logging 155 carries in 2025, his path to repetitive touches in Los Angeles has significantly narrowed, placing him in a depth-based committee.

Compounding his playing-time concerns are recent summer trade rumors that have surfaced. Despite these whispers, Vidal's ADP has climbed from the 220s in early May to around 189 in mid-June. While the fantasy market shows rising interest, our projections view this price tag as an over-hyped reach.

Our models project Vidal for a highly restricted workload of 54 carries, 217 rushing yards, and just 12 receptions. He remains a volatile stash in deeper formats, but unless injuries strike those ahead of him, fantasy managers should avoid chasing his rising draft cost in 1.0 PPR leagues.
