Week 8 Fantasy Football Running Back Rankings: Saquon Barkley & Josh Jacobs Continue To Surge
The running back landscape had changed quite a bit since the season began. Although Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, and Alvin Kamara have found their respective ways towards the top of the Week 8 PPR running back rankings, there are also several surprises. Two rookies -- Kenneth Walker and Travis Etienne -- have broken into the top-10 running backs heading into Week 8. And Josh Jacobs had marched all the way up to the No. 3 spot ahead of a matchup with the New Orleans Saints.
This week, we also have two very high-powered offenses on byes in the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers. Fortunately for fantasy owners, it should be fairly easy to find a replacement for Clyde Edwards-Helaire. However, finding a streaming option to replace Austin Ekeler is a much more difficult task. Hopefully, Ekeler owners were able to land Michael Carter, D'Onta Foreman, or Gus Edwards off the waiver wire. If not, this could be a very long week.
