Fantasy Football QB/RB FAAB Report Week 11: How Much FAAB Are Joshua Dobbs, Devin Singletary, Ty Chandler Worth?
Welcome to my weekly FAAB report article for Fantasy Football. Every week, I am going to go over my favorite additions at the QB and RB positions in both shallower leagues and deeper leagues and tell you how much FAAB you should be spending and why.

Best Fantasy Football FAAB Pickups for Shallow Leagues (10 and 12 Teams)
QB Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings
This guy is the man. His story is awesome, and so is his fantasy production. I started him as a replacement for Tua Tagovailoa this week in one league, and he was excellent. Moving forward, especially getting Justin Jefferson back at any moment, Dobbs has moved into the top 12-15 QB conversation on a weekly basis because of what he can do on the ground. He’s good throwing the football, but the 44 yards and a TD in Week 10 after 66 yards and a TD in Week 9 prove that he’s as good of a dual threat as anyone in the league. He has a rushing TD in four straight games and he is worth spending 13-17% of your remaining budget on.
QB Desmond Ridder, Atlanta Falcons
Taylor Heinicke left the Falcons' Week 10 loss with a hamstring injury and didn’t return. This of course now opens the door for Ridder, who lost his job to Heinicke a few weeks ago. Ridder led the Falcons on a TD drive that gave them a late lead; he completed 66% of his passes and rushed for a TD. He can be left on your waiver wire in 1-QB leagues but needs to be picked back up in 2-QB and/or Superflex formats. He isn’t guaranteed to be back starting, but all signs point to it happening. I would spend 6-8% of your remaining budget.
RB Devin Singletary, Houston Texans
Dameon Pierce will be back at some point, so don’t go crazy in your bidding this week for Singletary. Still, he was very productive this past week, rushing for over 100 yards and a TD in the Texans' upset win over the Bengals. It is worth noting that even when Pierce was healthy, Singletary was seeing roughly half of the touches, so his usage could remain steady moving forward. I like him as RB depth in shallower leagues and would be willing to spend 7-10% of my remaining budget.
Best Fantasy Football FAAB Pickups for Deep Leagues (14 and 16 Teams)
QB Jameis Winston, New Orleans Saints
Winston stepped in for Derek Carr during the Saints' Week 10 loss to the Vikings and put together a solid day in fantasy. He has always been a gunslinger and very aggressive moving the football down the field. If Carr’s injury keeps him out for any period of time, Winston becomes a solid option in deeper leagues. If you roster Carr, you will want to spend 10-13% of your remaining budget. If you don’t roster Carr but could use a QB in Superflex formats, 8-10% seems fine.
RB Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys
Tony Pollard just hasn’t been cutting it in fantasy this season and really hasn’t done much for the Cowboys, either. He is still the top RB in the offense, but Dowdle may have played himself into a larger role moving forward. He carried the ball three fewer times than Pollard in Week 10, yet he averaged 6.6 yards per carry compared to Pollard's 3.7 yards per carry. Dowdle also found the end zone and ran the ball well in the red zone, something Pollard hasn’t done well this season. Whether you roster Pollard or not, Dowdle deserves a competitive bid of 12-14% of your remaining budget.
RB Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings
Chandler isn’t very good, but sometimes you don’t have to be good to be useful in fantasy. Volume and opportunity is the name of the game, and he looks like he will have both in spades for at least a week. Cam Akers is, of course, out for the season, and Alexander Mattison is now dealing with a concussion. The Broncos are his opponent in Week 11, and they are one of the worst run defenses in the league, ranking 32nd heading into MNF against the Bills.
