The Eagles are looking to keep the Cowboys offense off the field and the best way is to sustain drives that lead to points.
With Philadelphia looking like they were set for another punt, special teams coordinator Michael Clay called his shot, running this beautiful fake punt, and pass from Braden Mann to Olamide Zaccheaus for a 28 yard gain.
The Eagles would finish with three points after a 52-yard field goal from Jake Elliott. With the first half continuing, here’s the reaction from fans and social media.

Jalen Hurts was 7-13 passing, for 92 yards and another costly turnnover as the Eagles offense did little to support their struggling defense.
Dallas was efficient in the first half, and capitalized on several mistakes to take a 24-6 first half lead.
DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown combined for 4 catches, and 77 yards in the first half, while Zach Cunningham led the Eagles with six tackles, and Darius Slay had four tackles and 2 passes defended in the first half.
The Eagles defense needed to force a turnover, and Jalen Carter needed a big-play to help cement his status as the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Both things happened when the No. 9 overall pick out of Georgia scooped up a Dak Prescott fumble off a Fletcher Cox strip sack, and returned the fumble 42 yards to pull Philadelphia within 11, as the Eagles now trail, 24-13.

No mere illness will stop Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons from taking the field on Sunday Night Football against the Eagles. Initial concern heightened when the Dallas defender was added to the injury report, but he’s active for the divisional affair.
With that settled, both teams are considered a full-go with the active rosters entirely present for Cowboys-Eagles. Running back Deuce Vaughn is inactive, so it’ll be the pair of Tony Pollard and Rico Dowdle leading the charge in the Dallas backfield.
It’s a clean report on the Philadelphia side, and both teams gave some key veterans rest during the week. Here’s the full list of inactives ahead of Cowboys-Eagles on at 7:20 p.m., televised on NBC
Cowboys running back Rico Dowdle scored on a 1-yard touchdown run with 6:14 remaining in the first half to give Dallas a 17-3 lead on the Eagles.
Cue up the Michael Jordan memes and maybe get an IV bag ready, just in case. Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has come down with an illness but is expected to play Sunday night when the division-leading Eagles pay a visit to AT&T Stadium.
The team added Parsons to their injury report just prior to the kickoff of Week 14’s early-afternoon slate. As per Ed Werder of ESPN, a virus has been working its way through the Cowboys locker room; it apparently hit quarterback Dak Prescott last week.
Parsons is dealing with flu-like symptoms, and although the Cowboys do not expect his playing time to be affected Sunday night, it will be a situation worth watching in what is expected to be a fiercely-contested matchup of longtime rivals
The Cowboys will have edge rusher Micah Parsons as expected for Sunday Night Football.
Although people like Cowboys owner Jerry Jones believe bad calls are just part of doing business in the NFL, bad calls have consequences.
The Dallas Cowboys have done no wrong so far with their play on the field, but there is a bit of a cause for concern as the second half gets underway. On the Philadelphia Eagles opening drive of the third quarter, defensive tackle Johnathan Hankins was injured.
Following a run by De’Andre Switft, Hankins remained on the ground and needed to be attended to by the team’s medical staff. When Dallas was on offense following a second forced fumble and recovery, Hankins was on a cart, with his right shoe off, heading to the locker room for further evaluation
