The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a slim lead against the Atlanta Falcons in the third quarter, but their running back made sure to open it up.
The Bucs were on the back foot on 3rd and 9 at the edge of field goal range when they called a screen pass to RB Rachaad White. The Falcons were playing zone defense at the time, and it allowed White to do what he does best — make things happen in space. White took the pass 31 yards down the field for a touchdown, and with the extra point from Chase McLaughlin, made it 19-10 and a two-possession lead for the Buccaneers

With the top spot in the NFC South on the line, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers squeaked past the Atlanta Falcons 29-25. Most of the game was dominated by the defenses until the fourth quarter, when the offenses came alive and started trading haymakers in the endzone.
Tampa Bay’s defense took control of the game early with a sick Carlton Davis interception inside the 10-yard line:

Baker Mayfield threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Cade Otton with 31 seconds remaining, capping a wild fourth quarter that pushed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into a tie for first place with a 29-25 victory over the Atlanta Falcons.
Falcons wide receiver Drake London is having a monster game in Week 14. With the offense trying to make a late-game push, London came down with an incredible 45-yard grab over Buccaneers safety Antoine Winfield.
The Falcons scored on a Desmond Ridder scramble to take the lead over the Bucs in the fourth quarter, 25-22. Watch London’s catch and Ridder’s touchdown run below, as shared by the Falcons’ Twitter account.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be sorely missing a key part of their defense in Sunday’s matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
The team announced its inactives against their NFC South rival, and there was one notable name that was questionable on the injury list — DT Vita Vea. Vea is inactive and will not play against the Falcons, a big blow in a game that will ultimately decide Tampa Bay’s playoff fate. Linebacker K.J. Britt, who was questionable, will indeed be active for the game.

A starting player on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense will not be returning against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14.
Bucs safety Ryan Neal was ruled out after an injury to his hip and his back in the first half of Tampa Bay’s game on Sunday. The Bucs will have both safety/cornerback Dee Delaney and safety Kaevon Merriweather available to take his place
The Atlanta Falcons no longer rule the NFC South following Sunday’s 29-25 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. What started as a painfully slow and sloppy game turned into a thriller late in the fourth quarter.
Despite a record day from Drake London, the Falcons committed some costly mistakes that were too much to overcome. Desmond Ridder threw an interception at the team’s own eight-yard line and the offense gave up a safety later in the second quarter.
After the game, fans on Twitter expressed their displeasure with head coach Arthur Smith‘s play-calling and Ridder’s inconsistent performance
The Atlanta Falcons nearly pulled off another fourth-quarter miracle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, but they came up just short and suffered their seventh loss of the season to their NFC South rivals.
The Buccaneers took a 29-25 lead with 31 seconds left, and despite a valiant effort to get within scoring range, Falcons wide receiver Drake London was tackled three yards shy of the end zone on the final play of the game
Here are 10 takeaways from Atlanta’s Week 14 loss to Tampa Bay
Atlanta Falcons cornerback A.J. Terrell was set to play Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being cleared from the concussion protocol.
The Atlanta Falcons have named punter Bradley Pinion a game-day captain for their Week 14 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not only did Pinion used to play for the Bucs, but he was just selected as the Falcons’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.

Atlanta currently has five season-long captains: safety Jessie Bates, defensive lineman Grady Jarrett, offensive tackle Jake Matthews, guard Chris Lindstrom and kicker Younghoe Koo
The Falcons are roaring back against the Buccaneers in the second half, and they have Bijan Robinson to thank. Robinson’s 33-yard run fell short of the end zone, but the rookie was able to punch it in on the next play to cut Tampa Bay’s lead to two points.
