DeAndre Hopkins' father died in a car crash when he was just five months old. One of the things he left behind was a mink jacket, and Hopkins always said he would wear it to either his wedding or the Super Bowl—whichever came first. Today, as he arrives for the Super Bowl, he's wearing it. (📷 @NFL)

I'm told just like last year Travis Kelce was moved to tears during his speech to the team last night at the team hotel. He's an emotional person, and some in the organization don't want to admit it, but they do believe this could be his final game. 🤷♂️ He hasn't said anything one way or another so we'll see.

Chiefs backup QB Carson Wentz has an indirect role in helping to assemble the roster that will try to prevent Kansas City from three repeating today. The Eagles traded Wentz to the Colts for a 2021 3rd-round pick and conditional 2022 1st-round pick. The Eagles then used that 2022 1st-Round pick to execute a trade with the Saints that Philadelphia turned into AJ Brown, Jalen Carter and Cooper DeJean

#Chiefs DL Chris Jones (knee) is doubtful to return.

In pregame drills, Jaylen Watson is the projected starter. Joe Thuney, as expected, is at left tackle with Mike Caliendo at left guard.

KC might want reconsider and move Joe Thuney back inside. Mike Caliendo's having a really tough time out there.
@AlbertBreer: The Chiefs flat-out can't block the Eagles.
Not sure you can fix that on the fly.

RT: Good morning beautiful people.. today is a GREAT day.. it is the biggest day of the year for our sport.. after a lonnng tumultuous season, filled with wild scenes and crazy turns, today is the day that our 2024/2025 World Champion is crowned. 32 NFL teams start at the bottom of Lombardi Mountain each year.. All hoping to reach the pinnacle. The climax if you will.. Everything they do revolves around the mission of making it to today. I was very lucky to ride the coattails of a great team and experience the Super Bowl once but.. never got to experience the confetti falling in our favor. It's a damn near impossible feat. You need a shit ton of luck, an abundance of talent, and “IT”… whatever the hell that is, you know it when you see it. This year's season felt like it flew by.. 17 games for everyone, seemingly in a snap of a finger. There was really bad football to start the year and we were all happy as hell to see some great football when it came. There were some blowouts which made the slew of thrillers even better.. A Hail Mary and a few blocked kicks won games this year. Some notoriously shite organizations found their way back into relevancy, while some teams still can't figure it out and may never figure it out to be honest.. New stars were born.. New rules were tested.. and inevitably in the end.. The Back to Back Champs and an Old School power football team are the final 2 standing. I can't thank the players enough for their commitment to their professions and giving us an entertaining year.. to the coaches who haven't really seen their families since training camp, THANK YOU for your love of the game.. and to the organizations investing millions… AND MILLLIONS.. of dollars into the league for us to be able to enjoy.. THANK YOU as well. We got 1 game left.. let's enjoy the shit out of it. Cheers to the NFL Season. It was an absolute blast to follow along with.. to those that rode the wave of the season with me and the boys, we say THANK YOU. We are so incredibly lucky and grateful that we get to do this for “work”… _________________________________________ NOW.. 1 last NFL Season giveaway.. 1 winner of $10,000 Must Use #PMSSuperExactly.. and answer all 3 parts Part 1~> The Over/Under for amount of time my Principal character appears in the NFL Commercial is 10 seconds, total commercial will be 2 minutesISH.. so.. Do you think Principal P will be in there OVER 10 seconds or UNDER 10 seconds? Part 2~> What will the exact final score of the Super Bowl be? Part 3~> Who will score the first points in the game? MUST USE PLAYER'S NAME __________________________________________ Here are some examples of what a proper looking entry would look like.. I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWERS, OBVIOUSLY “#PMSSuperExactly Over 10 seconds, Chiefs 31 Eagles 28, Harrison Butker” Or “#PMSSuperExactly Under 10 seconds, Eagles 28 Chiefs 24, Jalen Hurts” Good luck.. If there's a tie, we will search to see who entered their answers first.. if you don't answer all 3 parts and don't use #PMSSuperExactly, you will NOT be eligible to win. Let's have an incredible Super Bowl Sunday… we are indebted to you all forever. 🗣🗣 WE WILL SEE YOU TOMORROW

The Chiefs are sticking with Chamarri Conner in the slot. He blitzed & Saquon Barkley did a nice job blocking him for Jalen Hurts to throw another dime near the sideline, this one completed to Jahan Dotson, setting up the ball at the 1-yard line.

The Kansas City Chiefs have been without star wide receiver Rashee Rice for much of their 2024 campaign after he sustained a serious knee injury early in the regular season.

On this Super Bowl Sunday, we will be watching a rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs from two years ago. The game will have some new players mixed into the fold from roster building over that time, one player specifically is going to be familiar to Vikings fans.
A former first-round pick of Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah will be playing for the Eagles on Sunday.
Lewis Cine was cut during the final roster cuts in August but was signed quickly by the Buffalo Bills. Cine was cut later in the season and signed with the Eagles in January ahead of the Eagles playoff run to the Super Bowl
