How rare is it for a team to beat the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs by more than 8 points? Today was just the fifth time it's happened in his 124 starts (a 4% occurrence). That's just the second time it's happened in the last three seasons (playoffs included!).
With standout kicker Harrison Butker on injured reserve after undergoing knee surgery, the Chiefs will turn today to former Jets kicker Spencer Shrader, who could loom large in a matchup at Buffalo. Seven of the Chiefs' nine wins this season have been decided by seven or fewer points, and in each of their past two games, Kansas City has trailed in the fourth quarterback.

Unbelievable throw from Patrick Mahomes to Noah Gray for the TD. We got a classic in Orchard Park.

This week, starting wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins was added to the Kansas City Chiefs’ injury report.
While the team readied themselves to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 11 they shared this update on Hopkins’ condition:
Hopkins was listed with a knee injury this week, but it did not keep him from practicing with the Chiefs ahead of their Week 11 showdown against the Bills.
Hopkins was a full participant all three days Kansas City conducted dills.
Hopkins is expected to play this afternoon when the Chiefs take on Buffalo at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park
Wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been listed on the Kansas City Chiefs’ injury report over the past few weeks due to a variety of early-season setbacks.
Will this impact his availability today against the Buffalo Bills?
This week, the Chiefs indicated that Hardman is dealing with shoulder and toe injuries.
However, his condition didn’t keep him from being a full participant in all of Kansas City’s practices in Week 11 in preparation for Chiefs’ matchup against the Bills
The Kansas City Chiefs were without starting defensive end Mike Danna for a few weeks while he recovered from a pectoral injury.
Danna was back on the field in the Chiefs’ win over the Denver Broncos and tallied two tackles that helped Kansas City earn its ninth regular-season victory.
Danna has been dealing with a pectoral injury that has now healed enough that he can practice with the Chiefs and see action on gameday.
After playing in last week’s tilt against Denver, Danna was a full participant in Kansas City’s Week 11 practices in preparation for the Chiefs’ showdown with the Buffalo Bills
The Kansas City Chiefs decided to bench rookie offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia for their Week 11 matchup against the Buffalo Bills this afternoon.
Suamataia was selected by the Chiefs in the second round of the 2024 NFL draft and made significant strides toward earning the starting left tackle spot on Kansas City’s front five during training camp and thee preseason.
However, the former BYU Cougar has struggled to find his footing during the regular season and put together a disastrous performance against the Denver Broncos in Week 10
JuJu Smith-Schuster has been absent from his starting spot since aggravating a hamstring injury in the first half of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Week 7 matchup with the San Fransisco 49ers.
These are the latest details on his condition:
Smith-Schuster injured his hamstring this season and was forced to take time out to recover.
He returned to practice this week and was a full participant in the Chiefs’ drills on Thursday and Friday. While he may not have fully recovered yet, Smith-Schuster should be ready to return to play
Kareem Hunt was listed on the Kansas City Chiefs’ injury report for Week 11 ahead of the defending Super Bowl champions’ highly anticipated showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
Will Hunt be available for the matchup?
Hunt has been dealing with some minor setbacks and remained on Kansas City’s injury report this week due to his knee.
Fortunately, his knee injury did not affect his ability to practice this week. He was a full participant in all of the Chiefs’ drills.
Hunt is expected to be Kansas City’s starting running back when the Chiefs face the Bills this week, barring some kind of unforeseen last-second setback
On 4th & 2 with 2:27 left in regulation, Josh Allen dropped back before breaking off a 26-yard TD run. Allen had just a 1.2% chance of scoring a touchdown once he tucked the ball to run. It was Allen's first scramble TD run against the Chiefs in his career. Powered by @awscloud pic.x.com/xGduuXq6Bb

The key to beating Mahomes? Always good to chat with Rasul Douglas: "You've got to be on your game because it ain't just Mahomes. It's Andy. Andy is a hell of a coach. I feel like he's at home, he starts eating snacks and shit and he just starts dialing up plays -- 'Oh, we're going to get their ass with this!' ... You're playing against one of the best quarterbacks in the league and then you're playing against one of the best head coaches ever." -> https://t.co/4FudG9uKHd
.@KyleBrandt believes that James Cook is the most important player in today's Chiefs-Bills game other than Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes ? pic.x.com/GyP1KX2m6Z
Mack Hollins is not only barefoot but also dressed up as a construction worker... The most interesting man in the NFL. pic.x.com/lXGQ8IEcyK
Dawson Knox on that Josh Allen TD... "He's played over 100 games now. It seems like he does that every game. It's weird. You get to the point where you kind of expect it and you're like, 'Holy cow, why does this almost feel normal?' And then you watch it again on film, you're like, 'This shouldn't be normal.' But it is. And the whole crowd immediately starts chanting MVP. It's really fun. He's incredible, man." -> https://t.co/4FudG9uKHd
