The Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) host the Washington Commanders (7-3) in a battle for first place in the NFC East on Thursday Night Football.
It’s the first time Washington has seen Saquon Barkley in an Eagles uniform. Barkley spent the first six seasons of his NFL career with the New York Giants, where he enjoyed plenty of success against the Commanders.
Of course, this is a completely new Washington team based on what the Eagles saw last season. In are head coach Dan Quinn, quarterback Jayden Daniels, linebackers Bobby Wagner and Frankie Luvu, running back Austin Ekeler and host of other newcomers.
Zane Gonzalez will be handling the kicking duties for the Commanders again this week.

The Eagles announced on Thursday that they have elevated tight end C.J. Uzomah from the practice squad for tonight’s game against the Washington Commanders.
The move was made after Philadelphia waived Jack Stoll to make room on the roster for Jordan Mailata.

Uzomah will be the third tight end behind Dallas Goedert and Grant Calcaterra. This will be Uzomah’s first regular season game with the Eagles after spending time on and off the active roster after signing with the team in free agency
