Baltimore and Washinton are separated by about 43.3 miles. As the Ravens assume the role of big brother over the Commanders, Sunday offers Dan Quinn, QB Jayden Daniels, and owner Josh Harris to put the NFL and the DMV on notice.
Lamar Jackson and Jayden Daniels have won Heisman Trophies, leading to weeks of comparison and evaluations of their respective games. With just minutes until kickoff, we’re looking at pregame sights and sounds from M&T Bank Stadium.

The Chargers’ third scoring drive against the Broncos did more damage to the game clock than the scoreboard. But it still hurt Denver quite a bit.
Los Angeles started the drive with 1:50 to go in the first quarter when running back JK Dobbins ran up the middle for a 9-yard gain. It didn’t end until the 6:24 mark of the second quarter when kicker Cameron Dicker booted a 33-yard field goal attempt to take a 13-0 yard.
Twenty plays, 76 yards, and 10 minutes, 29 seconds, taken off the clock

A vocal contingent of fans has been clamoring for rookie Kimani Vidal to see the field. A healthy inactive for the majority of the season behind JK Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Hassan Haskins, Vidal has been waiting for his opportunity since Los Angeles drafted him in the sixth round this April.
With Edwards on injured reserve with an ankle injury, that opportunity arrived this week, and Vidal instantly took advantage.
After two long runs by Dobbins, the Chargers lined up for a first and 10 on the Broncos 38 yard line. Justin Herbert dropped back and waited as Vidal beat his defender on a wheel route. Herbert put the throw on the rookie, who had to extend for the ball, accelerating down the sideline and beating two Broncos defenders to the end zone

Stat line: 19 of 33, 216 passing yards, two touchdowns, an interception; six carries for 61 yards.
Highlight: The highlight from Nix’s performance wasn’t even a passing play. In the third quarter, Nix escaped a sack from edge rusher Bud Dupree before scrambling for an impressive 21-yard gain while pointing at linebacker Daiyan Henley as he ran out of bounds. The plays following Nix’s best run of the season: Incompletion, incompletion, delay of game, illegal formation and incompletion. In the fourth, Nix connected with wide receiver Courtland Sutton for one of the best touchdown catches of the season. Nix lofted a pass in the back of the end zone before Sutton made a diving one-handed grab for the score

11 yard run by Audric Estime, which I assume is enough to make him the Broncos' leading rusher on the season?

for the second week in a row, the #broncos are making TE Greg Dulcich a healthy scratch. There were big plans for Dulcich during training camp. Sean Payton often saying he could play the joker role in his offense. Now inactive again.

Sean Payton earned some more ire from New Orleans Saints fans last week when his Denver Broncos signed another ex-Saints player — former 2023 draft pick A.T. Perry, the wide receiver from Wake Forest. Perry showed up on game days but his poor day-to-day performance at practice didn’t help his case for a roster spot, and the team chose to waive him.
Now he’s on the Broncos practice squad. Payton spoke about the decision to add Perry, who he sees as a player with impressive physical gifts and plenty of skills to develop further

Troy Franklin caught his fair share of touchdowns from Bo Nix at Oregon. On Sunday, he nabbed his first one from Nix in a Broncos uniform.

Entering Sunday’s game, Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had never thrown an interception.
The Chargers changed that on the first drive of the game.
Nix dropped back to pass on third on 8 after two one yard runs by running back Javonte Williams. He looked over the middle for receiver Marvin Mims, but put the ball high. Mims got a hand on it and tipped it into the air, with the ball floating into the arms of Chargers safety Elijah Molden.
Molden returned the pick 25 yards to the Broncos 31 yard line, setting Los Angeles up with great field position on their first offensive drive of the game
