Fantasy Basketball Recap for February 7 and Waiver Wire Options: Kyshawn George, Royce O'Neale, Isaiah Collier, Nick Smith Jr., Bobby Portis and More

Looking over some of the better fantasy basketball performances from February 7 to maybe identify some waiver wire options.

We are a few days past the NBA trade deadline now, which means a few of the recently traded players are starting to play for their new teams.

Let's look at the top fantasy performers from Friday's games. We will include all players, not just waiver wire options, because it's interesting to see how the stars also perform with new teammates around them.

Hawks 115, Bucks 110

Atlanta played without Clint Capela, Bones Hyland, Caris LeVert, Terance Mann, Georges Niang and Kobe Bufkin, and Jalen Johnson is of course out for the season.

Mouhamed Gueye, rostered in 1% fantasy leagues, posted 15 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and four blocks in nearly 23 minutes off the bench.

Trae Young (100%) had 24 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in about 35 minutes. Dyson Daniels (100%) went for 15 points, six rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 38 minutes. 

Vit Krejci (10%) finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds and three assists in 31 minutes off the bench.

Onyeka Okongwu (91%) totaled 14 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in about 28 minutes. Larry Nance Jr. (4%) had 11 points, one rebound and steal and four assists across 20 minutes off the bench.

Milwaukee was without Giannis Antetokounmpo, Pat Connaughton and newcomer Kevin Porter Jr. Jericho Sims, another newcomer, did not play.

Bobby Portis (90%) went for 26 points, 15 rebounds, six assists and one steal and block across 37 minutes. Brook Lopez (92%) had 16 points, two rebounds, assists and blocks and one steal in 34 minutes.

Gary Trent Jr. (8%) totaled 19 points, four assists and three steals in nearly 29 minutes off the bench. Damian Lillard (100%) added 23 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists in nearly 35 minutes.

Nets 102, Heat 86

Brooklyn was without Bojan Bogdanovic, Ben Simmons, Cam Thomas, Noah Clowney and others.

Nicolas Claxton (86%) totaled 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and four blocks across nearly 31 minutes. Cameron Johnson (98%) went for 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and one block in nearly 30 minutes.

Ziaire Williams (12%) posted eight points, nine rebounds, three assists and two steals across 32 minutes. Trendon Watford (barely owned) had 12 points, four rebounds, three assists and one steal and block across 22 minutes.

Keon Johnson (54%) tallied 11 points, eight rebounds, one assist and steal and two blocks in 23 minutes. 

Day'Ron Sharpe (9%) recorded nine points, six boards and two assists and blocks across 17 minutes. D'Angelo Russell (91%) contributed 17 points, two rebounds and steals and one assist and block across 26 minutes.

Miami played without Kyle Anderson, Davion Mitchell and Andrew Wiggins, while Alec Burks and Kevin Love did not play either.

Terry Rozier (70%) finished with 20 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal and block across 31 minutes off the bench. Kel'el Ware (78%) had 10 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and one steal and block in 26 minutes.

Bam Adebayo (100%) went for 18 points, eight rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 36 minutes.

Hornets 117, Spurs 116

Charlotte played without Dalton Knecht, Tre Mann, Jusuf Nurkic, Josh Okogie, Cam Reddish, Grant Williams and Brandon Miller.

Miles Bridges (100%) posted 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists and one steal and block across 34 minutes. In 36 minutes, LaMelo Ball (100%) had 24 points, four rebounds and 10 assists.

Nick Smith Jr. (27%) went for 19 points, six rebounds and five assists across nearly 34 minutes.

Moussa Diabate (46%) posted nine points, 15 rebounds and six assists across 33 minutes. Seth Curry (1%) tallied 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 21 minutes off the bench.

San Antonio had pretty much every player at its disposal.

Jeremy Sochan (59%) recorded 11 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes off the bench. Chris Paul (97%) played nearly 27 minutes and had six points, one rebound and steal and seven assists.

Stephon Castle (57%) went for 33 points, four rebounds and two assists across 31 minutes off the bench.

Victor Wembanyama (100%) contributed 16 points, 11 rebounds, three assists and five blocks across 33 minutes. De'Aaron Fox (100%) posted 22 points, two rebounds, six assists and four steals in 32 minutes.

Detroit was without Dennis Schroder, Lindy Waters III, Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham, among others.

Malik Beasley (70%) totaled 36 points, three rebounds and one assist across nearly 38 minutes. Jalen Duren (100%) had 13 points and rebounds, seven assists and one steal across just 19 minutes.

Tobias Harris (93%) recorded 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one steal in 33 minutes. Ausar Thompson (58%) had 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

Philly was without Jared Butler, Jared McCain and Guerschon Yabusele, among others.

Quentin Grimes (13%) finished with 14 points, two rebounds and assists and one block in 28 minutes off the bench. Justin Edwards (5%) had 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 29 minutes.

Kelly Oubre Jr. (97%) totaled 14 points, 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal and block across nearly 36 minutes. Joel Embiid (100%) posted 23 points, seven rebounds, six assists and two blocks across 29 minutes.

Tyrese Maxey (100%) went for 27 points, three rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 38 minutes of play.

Thunder 121, Raptors 109

OKC didn't have Luguentz Dort and Cason Wallace, among others.

Alex Caruso (20%) totaled 12 points, six rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block in 20 minutes off the bench. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (100%) went for 25 points, four rebounds, six assists and one steal in 29 minutes.

Aaron Wiggins (24%) tallied 18 points, three rebounds, two assists and one steal and block across 33 minutes. Jalen Williams (100%) had 27 points, five rebounds and four assists in 33 minutes of play.

Chet Holmgren (100%) played just 22 minutes, recording four points and blocks, five rebounds, two steals and one assist. Isaiah Hartenstein (100%) had 12 points, six rebounds and two assists and steals in about 26 minutes.

Isaiah Joe (12%) finished with 16 points, two rebounds and one assist across 25 minutes off the bench.

Toronto played without RJ Barrett, Brandon Ingram, P.J. Tucker, James Wiseman and Jakob Poeltl, among others.

Jamison Battle (barely owned) totaled 11 points, two rebounds and one assist and steal in nearly 15 minutes off the bench. Jonathan Mogbo (2%) had 10 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in nearly 28 minutes.

Gradey Dick (55%) went for 17 points, seven rebounds and one assist and block in 27 minutes. Scottie Barnes (100%) posted 21 points, five rebounds, four assists and blocks and three steals in 34 minutes.

Suns 135, Jazz 127 (OT)

Phoenix played without Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant and Cody Martin, among others.

Devin Booker (100%) was the top fantasy scorer on the night after tallying 47 points, six rebounds, 11 assists and one steal in 48 minutes.

Grayson Allen (45%) went for 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block in 35 minutes. Nick Richards (49%) had 12 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks across 23 minutes.

Royce O'Neale (30%) posted 12 points, four assists and blocks and three rebounds in 30 minutes. Tyus Jones (70%) went for 16 points, six rebounds and assists and one steal and block in 38 minutes.

Bol Bol (1%) finished with 12 points, three rebounds and blocks and one assist in 24 minutes off the bench.

Utah was without Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton, among several others.

Kyle Filipowski (3%) tallied 11 points and rebounds and one steal and block in just 15 minutes off the bench. Keyonte George (87%) had 18 points, four assists, three rebounds and one block in 35 minutes off the bench. 

Lauri Markkanen (100%) totaled 20 points, seven rebounds and one assist and steal in 39 minutes. John Collins (100%) added 21 points, six rebounds, two assists and blocks and one steal in 38 minutes.

Isaiah Collier (61%) contributed 15 points, 13 assists, four rebounds and one steal in nearly 35 minutes. Walker Kessler (100%) had 19 points, 22 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal in 37 minutes.

Cavaliers 134, Wizards 124

Cleveland played without De'Andre Hunter and Isaac Okoro, among others. 

Donovan Mitchell (100%) totaled 33 points, one rebound, five assists and two steals across 34 minutes. Evan Mobley (100%) had 27 points, seven rebounds and one assist, steal and block across 33 minutes. 

Darius Garland (100%) posted 23 points, five rebounds and assists and one steal in nearly 32 minutes. Jarrett Allen (100%) added 12 points and rebounds, four assists and two blocks in nearly 27 minutes.

Max Strus (25%) had 17 points, five rebounds and three assists across 31 minutes. Ty Jerome (44%) went for 13 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 25 minutes off the bench.

Craig Porter Jr. (barely owned) played 22 minutes off the bench, ending with two points, four rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Washington didn't have Malcolm Brogdon, Khris Middleton, Alexandre Sarr, Marcus Smart, Justin Champagnie and Alex Len, among others.

Jordan Poole (100%) led Washington with 45 points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal in 37 minutes. Kyshawn George (21%) added 17 points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals in nearly 35 minutes.

Bilal Coulibaly (83%) went for 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals across 37 minutes. Richaun Holmes (7%) had 12 points and rebounds, three assists and one block in 31 minutes.
