Using Fantasy Basketball Weekly Projections to Identify Waiver Wire Options: Russell Westbrook, Caris LeVert, D'Angelo Russell, Alexandre Sarr, Al Horford and More

It's the start of a new week of fantasy basketball, so let's look at the top projected players.

I'll identify some waiver wire possibilities based on weekly fantasy projections here at FantasySP. I'll break them down into what percentage of leagues they are owned/available in.

Almost 100% Rostered

Jonas Valanciunas, Immanuel Quickley, Devin Vassell, Tobias Harris, Kelly Oubre Jr., Lauri Markkanen, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Russell Westbrook, Keyonte George, Shaedon Sharpe, Chris Paul, Payton Pritchard, Donte DiVincenzo and Nicolas Claxton are in a big group of players rostered in 90 or more percent of leagues.

Valanciunas is available in about 3% of leagues. According to numbers from NBA.com, Valanciunas is averaging 35.4 fantasy points per game since the All-Star break. He has three games this week.

Quickley is owned in about 3.5% of leagues. He's averaging 35.9 fantasy points per game and has four games this week.

Vassell has four games as well this week. He's available in about 3% of leagues and is averaging 29.9 fantasy points since the break. 

Harris is also available in about 3% of leagues. He's averaging 31.3 fantasy points since the break and is set to play three times this week.

Oubre is available in just 1.5% of leagues. He's got four games this week and is averaging 30.2 fantasy points since the break.

Markkanen has averaged 23.7 fantasy points per game, but in just two games since the break. He's available in a little more than 4% of leagues and has four games ahead of him this week.

Wiggins is available in about 7.5% of leagues. He's averaging 33.6 fantasy points per game since the break and has four games scheduled this week.

Green only has three games this week. He's available in about 4% of leagues and is averaging 35.7 fantasy points per game since the All-Star break.

Westbrook is averaging 24.6 fantasy points per contest since the break. He's got four games this week and is available in about 9.5% of leagues.

George is available in about 10% of leagues and has four games as well this week. He's averaged 33.2 fantasy points per game since the break.

Sharpe, who is averaging 30.4 fantasy points since the break, only has three games this week. He's available in about 8.5% of fantasy leagues.

Paul is only available in about 4% of leagues. He has four games this week and is averaging 23.5 points since the All-Star break.

Pritchard is averaging 28.2 fantasy points per contest since the break. He's got four games scheduled this week and is available in about 10% of leagues. 

DiVincenzo is available in 7.25% of leagues right now. He has three games ahead of him this week. He's averaging 30.9 fantasy points across seven games since the break.

Claxton is averaging 32.4 fantasy points per contest since the break. He's got five games scheduled this week and is available in 5% of leagues.

Naji Marshall, Caris LeVert, D'Angelo Russell, Stephon Castle, Quentin Grimes and Tari Eason are all rostered in 75-90% of leagues.

Bennedict Mathurin, Alexandre Sarr, Andrew Nembhard and Dennis Schroder are rostered in between 50-75% of leagues.

Mathurin has four games on the schedule this week. He's rostered in about 69% of leagues and is averaging 25.1 fantasy points per game since the break.
