March 12 Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Options and Drop Candidates, Plus Tuesday's Recap: Kyshawn George, Karlo Matkovic, Max Strus, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Quentin Grimes and More

There were just four NBA games played on Tuesday, March 11, so we're taking a little different approach with our fantasy article.

We'll look at the top fantasy performances from waiver wire options and also identify the top waiver wire pickups from the FantasySP page, but we'll also include some drop candidates before we wrap up. Cavaliers 109, Nets 104

All of the top fantasy performers from the Cavaliers are already rostered in 100% of fantasy leagues. 

Ziaire Williams, rostered in 32% of leagues, recorded 14 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal across 30 minutes of action.

Pistons 123, Wizards 103

Malik Beasley, rostered in 80% of leagues, tallied 14 points, four rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes off the bench.

Tim Hardaway Jr., owned in 16% of leagues, went for 11 points, four rebounds, two steals and one assist across 23 minutes.

Marcus Smart, rostered in 16% of leagues, played 21 minutes off the bench, tallying 16 points, two rebounds and assists and one block.

Richaun Holmes, owned in 24% of leagues, had 14 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 22 minutes off the bench.

Kyshawn George, rostered in 51% of leagues, added 12 points, five rebounds, three steals, two assists and one block across 31 minutes.

Pacers 115, Bucks 114

T.J. McConnell, owned in 20% of leagues, recorded 12 points, seven assists, four steals, two rebounds and one block across 21 minutes off the bench.

Andrew Nembhard, rostered in 66% of leagues, had 12 points, three assists, two rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes.

Taurean Prince, owned in 12% of leagues, finished with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and one steal in 34 minutes.

Pelicans 127, Clippers 120

Karlo Matkovic, rostered in 32% of leagues, closed the night with 15 points, four rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 20 minutes off the bench.

Jose Alvarado, owned in 40% of leagues, finished with 14 points, four assists and two rebounds and steals across 25 minutes off the bench. 

Bruce Brown, rostered in 6% of leagues, had 12 points and five rebounds and assists in 30 minutes of play.

Kris Dunn, owned in 50% of leagues, recorded 11 points, five assists and three steals and rebounds in 31 minutes.

Top Waiver Wire Pickups

Washington's George is the top waiver pickup of the day, up 8.97%. Holmes got a 4.02% boost. Teammates Alexandre Sarr (up 3.72%, 76.38% overall), Justin Champagnie (up 2.49%, 9.23% overall) and Tristan Vukcevic (up 2.19%, 4.06% overall) are also on the 25-player waiver list.

LA Clippers' Derrick Jones Jr. is rostered in 25.46% of leagues after an 8.23% boost. Bogdan Bogdanovic is up 7.26% and at 65.31% overall, while Nicolas Batum is owned in 12.18% of leagues after a 5.44% increase. Dunn is up 2.61% today.

New Orlean's Matkovic is up 7.39% today, while Alvarado got a 3.52% boost. Teammate Yves Missi is up 1.85% and rostered in 51.29% of leagues overall.

Cleveland's Max Strus is up 7.33% today and sitting at 35.42% overall now. Philadelphia's Quentin Grimes is owned in 85.98% of leagues after a 5.46% boost today.

Brooklyn's Williams is up 4.01% today. Teammates Keon Johnson (up 2.53%, 31.37% overall) and Noah Clowney (up 2.43%, 12.92% overall) are also on the list.

Detroit's Schroder is up 3.87% today, while teammate Isaiah Stewart is up to 20.66% rostered after a 1.92% increase.

Indiana's Nesmith got a 3.7% increase today. New York's Miles McBride is up 2.81% and rostered in 37.64% of leagues overall.

Toronto's A.J. Lawson is owned in 3.41% of leagues after a 2.66% increase. Dallas' Kessler Edwards is up 2.39% and rostered in 15.5% of leagues now.

Chicago's Kevin Huerter is owned in 15.53% of leagues after a 2.05% increase. Golden State's Jonathan Kuminga is up 1.96% and sitting at 74.62% now.

Drop Candidates 

Washington's Bilal Coulibaly is the top dropped player, down 5.5% to bring his total own mark to 64%.

New Orleans' Kelly Olynyk is down 4.6% and owned in 31% of leagues now. Philadelphia's Andre Drummond is rostered in 45% of leagues after a 4.1% drop.

Sacramento's Keon Ellis is down 3.9% and rostered in 35% of leagues now. Orlando's Cole Anthony was dropped in 3.7% of leagues and is rostered in 46% overall.

Phoenix's Bol Bol is down 3.4%, as is Miami's Davion Mitchell. Bol is owned in 27% of leagues, while Mitchell is at 26%. Duncan Robinson is another Miami player on the drop list - he's at 28% rostered after a 2.3% dropoff.

Oklahoma City's Aaron Wiggins is down 3% and sitting at 53% overall now. Chicago's Matas Buzelis was dropped in 2.6% of leagues and is at 38% overall.

Utah's Kyle Filipowski is down 2.5% today and now is rostered in 64% of leagues. Houston's Cam Whitmore and Tari Eason are both down 2.3% - Whitmore is rostered in 5% of leagues, while Eason is at 75%.

Cleveland's Ty Jerome is down 2.2% and sitting at 48% overall. Dallas' Brandon Williams sits at 42% after a 2.1% drop.
