Identifying some of the most-dropped fantasy basketball players near the start of the fantasy week.
After taking a look at some fantasy basketball waiver wire options, let's look at some of the most-dropped players.
The drops were pulled from the FantasySP waiver trends most dropped tab, which can be found on any fantasy basketball page on the site.

Tre Jones Fantasy Outlook
Jones was dropped in 5.9% of fantasy leagues, bringing his total to 37% overall. He's out for the next couple weeks with a foot injury.
Jones had been a good fantasy asset over the past 12 games, accumulating 171 points, 74 assists, 46 rebounds, 13 steals and four blocks in that span.
He can be re-added if he returns to the court this season, but there's no point in holding him outside of really, really deep leagues.
Keyonte George Fantasy Outlook
George is down 4.5% today, bringing his total to 76%. He scored just eight points in his last game.
George had scored in double figures in seven straight games before that, with at least 16 points in all but one of those contests. He's also missed some time of late with injuries.
I don't think George should be rostered in every single fantasy league, but I also am not a huge fan of dropping him. He's a good fantasy asset most nights, even if he's scoring a bit less, so I wouldn't bail on him unless it's a prolonged cold stretch.
Orlando Robinson Fantasy Outlook
Robinson was dropped in 4.2% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 26%. He's combined for just seven points in the past two games.
He was a big waiver wire add the past couple weeks after scoring in double figures in five straight games. It seems his fantasy hot streak has run out, and I think he's still rostered in too many leagues.
Robinson can be held in deep leagues, but there's got to be some better options available to you in most deeper formats.
Scoot Henderson Fantasy Outlook
Henderson saw his own percentage drop 4%, bringing his total to 55%. He continues to alternate single- and double-digit scoring outputs.
Since a 30-point game on March 12, Henderson has alternated scoring in single- and double-digits in the past five contests. He has 46 points, 23 assists, 15 rebounds and two steals in that span.
That's not great fantasy production, and it's definitely not standard league worthy. I'd keep rostering him in deeper leagues, and in most standard setups with IR spots available, but he's not a must-start player at this point. I'd play matchups as best I could with him until he shows more consistency.
Tari Eason Fantasy Outlook
Eason is down 3.9%, bringing his overall mark down to 81%. He's played in four straight games, but has only scored 11 points over the past two games combined.
He hasn't started the past two games, and had an especially poor performance on March 23 - four points, two rebounds and one steal and assist across 15 minutes.
I'm not ready to completely bail on him in all standard leagues, but I also wouldn't feel great if I had to start him in one of those leagues right now. If he doesn't get going soon, expect that own percentage to keep dropping.
Keep rostering Eason in all deeper formats, and keep starting him too.
Jaxson Hayes Fantasy Outlook
Hayes saw a 3.8% drop and is at 42% overall. He's got just one double-digit scoring effort over the past five games.
In that span, Hayes has accumulated 38 points, 31 rebounds, eight assists, four steals and three blocks. There's enough fantasy production there to use him in some deeper leagues, but I think he's rostered in far too many leagues still.
Check your waiver wire and see if there's some better options out there, because there should be.
Keldon Johnson Fantasy Outlook
Johnson was dropped in 3.4% of leagues, bringing his total to 60%. He has scored in single figures in two of the past three games, which isn't great for a standard league option.
Johnson has enough value to keep rostering him in deeper leagues, but I'd look elsewhere in just about every standard league. He might be a waiver wire option/standard league streamer if he gets hot again though, so don't write him off completely.
Jeremy Sochan Fantasy Outlook
Sochan was let go in 3.3% of leagues and is now owned in 64% of leagues. He scored just nine points in his last game, and got to only 10 three games ago.
Sochan isn't a huge scorer anyways, instead providing standard league value by stuffing the stat sheet. I think there's probably some better standard league options out there again, but to not completely write him off yet.
Sochan had scored in double figures in the six games before that, and if he gets right back on track, there's standard league value with him.
Kyshawn George Fantasy Outlook
George was dropped in 3% of leagues and is at 56% overall. He turned his ankle in the team's last game, so his status moving forward is uncertain.
In his first 11 games of March, George racked up 132 points, 61 rebounds, 41 assists, 18 steals and 13 blocks. That well-rounded effort made him a standard league option, and makes him a fantasy player to own in all deeper leagues.
If he misses time, he should be dropped in all standard leagues, and probably only kept in deeper leagues where IR spots are available to stash him in.
Zaccharie Risacher Fantasy Outlook
Risacher is down 2.9% today and at 59% overall. He's been performing well of late, and is coming off a 22-point game, so I don't understand dropping him whatsoever.
Over his past five games, Risacher has 88 points, 21 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks. Those are not great well-rounded numbers, but there's enough there to at least roster him in all deeper leagues.
I think he's a pretty solid standard league streaming option for as long as he's scoring as well as he is now. I'd add and drop him in standard leagues when he's got games/doesn't.
Miles McBride Fantasy Outlook
McBride was dropped in 2.8% of leagues and is down to 46% overall. He's dealing with a groin injury right now.
McBride has been a solid fantasy asset with Jalen Brunson out of late, but if McBride is now out too, there's not much reason to keep rostering McBride, especially if you need that roster spot.
Watch McBride's status for the Knicks' next game and react accordingly.
Aaron Nesmith Fantasy Outlook
Nesmith is down 2.7% today and at 49% overall. He had a six-point showing on March 22, but followed that up with a 17-point effort on March 24.
Nesmith is not the most consistent player, but that six-point outing was his only time in single digits over the past six games. He has 101 points, 28 rebounds, eight assists, five steals and one block in that span.
He's not a great standard league option, but could be a streaming option in favorable matchups. I do like the idea of adding and utilizing Nesmith in deeper leagues right now.
Terance Mann Fantasy Outlook
Mann is also down 2.7% and at just 9% overall now. He's only scored 14 points over the past two games.
Mann has six rebounds and just one steal for other stats in that brief two-game span. Seeing his own percentage should tell you he's not a huge fantasy asset, and if he's producing like his past two games, there's not much reason for any fantasy owners to hang on to him.
There's got to be some better fantasy assets out there for you.
Mouhamed Gueye Fantasy Outlook
Gueye is another player down 2.7% - he's at 8% overall. He hasn't scored in double figures in any of the past six games, so honestly I'm surprised his own percentage is still that high.
Gueye has tallied 25 points, 17 rebounds, five assists, four steals and seven blocks over those six games. That's just not enough fantasy production to roster him anywhere outside the deepest of leagues. Look elsewhere for help until Gueye shows more promising stats.
Norman Powell Fantasy Outlook
Powell was dropped in 2.6% of leagues, bringing his total to 93%. He's struggled to get going since returning from a lengthy injury.
In four games since coming back, Powell has 41 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals across 99 minutes. His minutes got up to 31 last game, so that is a positive.
Powell has been a good fantasy asset most of the season, so it's hard to part with him. I'd try to hold out hope for him, but drop him if I needed that roster spot to keep my fantasy season going. Don't wait too long to make the move.
