Week 11 Waiver Wire Wide Receiver Priority List | Deciding Between Brandin Cooks, Michael Gallup, Noah Brown, Jayden Reed, Trenton Irwin, Elijah Moore, Dyami Brown and Jalen Guyton
Week 10 proved to be another wild one in terms of the top fantasy wide receivers.
There’s a handful of waiver wire options out there, and we’ll focus on the best options of guys with own percentages of 50% or lower.
We already took a look at some quarterbacks, and then discussed some running backs. We’ll touch on the tight ends last, so check back for that story.

The Wide Receivers Out There
Let’s discuss Dallas Cowboys’ Brandin Cooks and Michael Gallup, Houston Texans’ Noah Brown, Green Bay Packers’ Jayden Reed, Cincinnati Bengals’ Trenton Irwin, Cleveland Browns’ Elijah Moore, Washington Commanders’ Dyami Brown and Los Angeles Chargers’ Jalen Guyton.
Cooks and Gallup are guys I discussed on Monday, so I’ll sum things up here.
Cooks went off for 173 yards and a touchdown on nine catches and 10 targets in the team’s rout of the New York Giants. It was the first time he topped 50 receiving yards this season, but three of his best games have come over the past three weeks.
Gallup only caught two passes on two targets against the Giants, but the grabs went for 70 yards and a score. It marked the third time Gallup has topped 50 yards, and first time since week 4. Gallup hasn’t gone over three catches since that week.
Dallas racked up 640 offensive yards in the lopsided win, including 472 passing yards. Those numbers aren’t sustainable, and the receiver duo is always fighting for leftovers behind No. 1 option CeeDee Lamb.
Noah Brown had a second straight big game for the Texans against the Bengals in week 10. Brown caught seven of his eight targets for 172 yards, but no scores.
Brown has now topped 50 receiving yards in three straight games. Something to note is that Brown played 56 offensive snaps, only trailing one receiver on the team - Tank Dell. Brown played 11 more snaps than Robert Woods. Brown’s playing time could dip with the return of Nico Collins, who missed week 11 with an injury.
Reed is another guy I wrote about on Monday, so let’s sum things up again. Reed caught all five of his targets against the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 10, turning those into 84 yards and a touchdown.
It set a new career high in receiving yards for the rookie, who has now topped 50 yards four times. He’s been at or above 40 scrimmage yards in six contests, and now has scored four touchdowns.
The Packers’ offense doesn’t have a true No. 1 receiver, meaning Reed could be that guy any given week.
Irwin got a ton of playing time in week 10, mostly because Tee Higgins missed the game and Ja’Marr Chase was banged up too. Irwin played 52 offensive snaps, which was the second most he’s played this season.
Irwin was targeted four times, making two grabs for 54 yards and a touchdown. He also returned a kickoff and punt for the Bengals.
With Higgins expected to miss this Thursday night’s game against the Baltimore Ravens, Irwin should again get a healthy amount of snaps in week 11.
Moore had arguably his best fantasy day in week 10 in the Browns’ wild win over the Ravens. He caught five of his seven targets for 44 yards and a touchdown.
Moore has now topped 30 scrimmage yards in all but three contests. He’s gotten at least two touches in every game, and has only been under four touches on three occasions.
The touchdown was the first of the season for Moore, so maybe it can spur a hot streak for the wideout.
For a second straight week, Dyami Brown produced for the Commanders. He caught two passes for 41 yards, one of which was a 35-yard touchdown.
Brown was only on the field for 11 offensive snaps, so it’s hard to expect similar fantasy numbers to continue if he isn’t playing much. As mentioned before though, it was his second straight game with two catches. He’s only had 10 grabs on the season, but is averaging 16.1 yards per catch, so just a couple plays could get you a few fantasy points.
Guyton played for the second straight week and put together a solid fantasy showing in the team’s shootout loss to the Detroit Lions. Guyton had four grabs on six targets for 41 yards and a touchdown.
Guyton was recently activated off the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, which came at a perfect time, as Joshua Palmer went on injured reserve the same day. That should leave some chances for Guyton to make a difference, as only Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston have played over 100 offensive snaps at receiver.
The Priority List
As we do every week, let’s break this section down into two parts - a list of the top streaming options and then a list of the best long-term fantasy options.
There’s a mix of favorable, average and tough matchups ahead in week 11, with Dyami Brown having the easiest matchup on paper and Guyton, Cooks and Gallup being tied for the worst matchup.
I tend to trust consistent production more often than not, so I’m going to go with Reed as my top streaming option against the Chargers’ defense. I’d take Noah Brown against the Arizona Cardinals for my next choice.
I like Moore against the Steelers next, followed by Cooks against the Panthers. I’d take Irwin against the Ravens before Gallup against the Panthers. I’d wrap things up with Guyton against the Packers and finally Dyami Brown against the Giants.
As for the long-term options, I think I’d still stick with Reed, as he’s got the only real chance of consistently serving as his team’s No. 1 option.
I’d take Cooks next based on what he’s done of late, and then take his teammate Gallup next. I usually wouldn’t take two players from the same team this early, but with how the Cowboys have struggled to run and how the passing game has looked more often than not, I’m comfortable with this decision.
I think Moore is the next best option, even though a few of the other options are capable of bigger games. I think Moore will outscore the rest of the pack for the remainder of the season.
Noah Brown will likely outscore Moore a few more times, but I’m just not confident he can consistently contribute with all the other weapons in Houston.
Guyton appears to be in line for the most playing time going forward, so I’d take him over Irwin and Dyami Brown. I’d lastly take Irwin over Brown. Neither guy will get much playing time when their team is at full strength, but because Irwin has the chance to play a big role in week 11, I’ll give him the edge over Brown for the rest of the season.
The wide receiver list isn’t star studded, but it’s a more promising list of players than at the quarterback or running back positions. Unfortunately, a few of the players will only be fantasy options until some of their teammates heal up, but picking out the right player or two could help you win a couple matchups going forward.
