Sophomore Passer Commands High-Upside Volatility in Compelling Quarterback Battle

Shedeur Sanders is locked in a compelling quarterback battle in Cleveland, officially listed behind veteran Deshaun Watson but pushing hard for the starting job. Offensive coordinator Todd Monken has praised the sophomore's rapid development and quicker decision-making during offseason workouts, where Sanders frequently took first-team reps.

After a rookie campaign where he threw for 1,609 yards, eight touchdowns, and 11 interceptions in nine games, our models project a similar partial-season workload for Sanders. We project him to throw for 1,551 yards, nine touchdowns, and eight interceptions, adding 135 yards and a score on the ground.
