Fantasy Football Snap & Target Report Week 10
Fantasy Football Target Leaders Weeks 9-10
There are only four receivers who have been targeted 10 or more times in each of the last two weeks:
T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings: Over the past two weeks, Hockenson has been targeted 27 times, and on Sunday he had 11 catches on 15 targets for 134 yards and a TD.
Tank Dell, Houston Texans: The rookie is helping to make C.J. Stroud a superstar. He’s been targeted 25 times in the last two weeks. On Sunday, he "only" caught six passes on 14 targets for 56 yards, but he did score a TD.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: Everyone talks about Tyreek Hill and Ja’Marr Chase, and Lamb tends to be an afterthought among top-tier WRs. But he has been targeted 30 times over the past two weeks and is actually only one of two WRs (along with Garrett Wilson) to have had double-digit targets each of the last three weeks. He had a massive game on Sunday, catching 11 passes on 14 targets for 151 yards and a TD.
Garrett Wilson, New York Jets: What Wilson is doing in New York may be the most amazing out of all receivers. He’s been targeted 40 times in the past three weeks. And on Sunday caught nine passes on 14 targets for 93 yards. He is basically the only offensive weapon the Jets have, and the opposing secondary knows it. For him to continue to be as productive as he is, week after week is remarkable.
Fantasy Football Receiving Leaders Through Week 10
These are the receiving leaders in each category:
Most Snaps — Michael Pittman: Pittman has played on the most snaps of any WR with 661 and is tied for third in targets with 98. With all these snaps and all those targets, he’s only ninth with 66 catches and 13th in receiving yards … and he has only caught three TDs.
Most Targets — Stefon Diggs: Despite Diggs having the most targets with 102 and being tied for most catches with 73, his production wasn’t enough to save OC Ken Dorsey’s job. Dorsey was terminated on Tuesday. With the Bills now sitting at 5-5, it will be interesting to see which direction the team, and the Josh Allen/Diggs combo, goes the rest of the season.
Most yards — Tyreek Hill: Hill has said all season he wants 2,000 receiving yards. Through 10 weeks he is sitting at 1,076, with only A.J. Brown also over 1,000 yards at 1005. Hill is on pace to hit 2,032 yards. He also leads receivers with eight TDs.
Fantasy Football Running Back Leaders Week 10
There was exactly one RB this week who had over 30 touches. Houston’s Devin Singletary had 31 touches on 61 snaps. He ran the ball 30 times for 150 yards and a TD.
While Singletary was the only RB with over 30 touches, five other RBs have had over 20 touches each of the last two weeks:
Josh Jacobsm Las Vegas Raiders: In 53 snaps, Jacobs had 29 rushes with 116 yards on Sunday.
Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos: On Monday night, the Broncos rode Williams to victory. He was on the field for 39 snaps and touched the ball 64.1% of the time, gaining 110 total yards with a TD reception.
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts: Taylor has officially ramped up and is getting RB1 snaps. He was on the field for 50 snaps with 25 total touches, 75 total yards, and a TD.
D’Onta Foreman, Chicago Bears: Foreman’s 38 snaps were the fewest of this grouping, but he managed 23 touches, 92 yards, and a TD. It will be interesting to see his role if Khalil Herbert returns this week.
Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: White had 98 total yards with a receiving TD. He was on the field for 46 snaps with 22 touches. The most interesting fact about this group of five RBs is that each of their teams won this week.
David Montgomery vs. Jahmyr Gibbs
Another team that won this week was the Detroit Lions, with one of the reasons being the performance of returning RB David Montgomery. The Lions eased him back with only 25 snaps and 12 touches. He still gained 116 rushing yards on 9.7 yards per carry, along with a TD. Jahymr Gibbs was also heavily involved, touching the ball 17 times for over 100 total yards and two TDs.
Najee Harris vs. Jaylen Warren
Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren are becoming one of the league's best RB tandems, a trend that more and more of the league is utilizing. On Sunday, they each played 33 snaps. Warren had 17 touches and Harris had 19 touches. For the season, Harris has the edge in TDs, three to two. And he leads in snaps, 301 to 255. Warren has a better rushing average, 5.1 to 4. And for the season, he’s just barely ahead of Harris in total yardage, 582 to 579.
