Fantasy Football Red Zone Report Week 10
Red Zone Target Leaders Week 10
There were five receivers who had at least three red zone targets this week. Some are very familiar names, while a couple of others haven’t been used nearly as often.
Tank Dell, Houston Texans: As of late Dell has been getting more time and has built a solid connection with fellow rookie C.J. Stroud. In the last two weeks he’s been targeted 25 times, and this week he led all receivers with five red zone targets. He played 72 snaps and was targeted 14 times overall. With all this activity, he only caught five passes and only two in the red zone. But before Sunday, he only had two red zone targets all season, so it's still a trend in the right direction.
CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys: In 60 snaps Lamb was also targeted 14 times. And although he had more red zone action than Dell coming into the week, he still increased his total by 50%, going from eight to 12 red zone targets for the season on Sunday. And he was able to catch 75% of his four red zone targets.
Courtland Sutton, Denver Broncos: Sutton was a force for the Broncos and without his athleticism they may not have won the game. Three of his 11 targets were in the red zone, and he managed to catch all three of them from Russell Wilson.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns: Njoku was targeted nine times, with three in the red zone. He caught two of his red zone targets, and for the season, he’s sixth among TEs with 10 red zone targets.
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys: Ferguson is the TE with the most red zone targets, with 17. In fact, he leads all receivers with that number. On Sunday, in 52 snaps, he added three more red zone targets, catching two of them. For the season, he’s tied for third with 10 red zone receptions.

Most Efficient Red Zone Receivers Week 10
As much as it’s great to have players being targeted often in the red zone, sometimes efficiency is more important. This week there were four receivers who were targeted two or more times and caught each of those targets. Sutton was listed above and is the only receiver who had three red zone targets and three red zone receptions. Here are the other three:
Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions: St. Brown now has nine red zone targets on the season. He caught each of his two red zone targets this week. Overall, he was targeted nine times, catching eight passes for a whopping 156 yards and a TD.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints: Like St. Brown, Olave was targeted nine times, with two red zone targets and two red zone catches. He wasn’t quite as efficient overall, only catching six passes … but he did gain 94 receiving yards, and he also scored a TD.
Jalen Guyton, Los Angeles Chargers: Unlike St. Brown and Olave, Guyton’s two red zone targets were his first two of the season. He had 57 snaps on Sunday; for the season, he only has 90. He caught four out of six overall targets for 41 yards and a TD.
Running Back Red Zone Attempt Leaders
Out of all running backs this week, only three had five or more red zone attempts:
Austin Ekeler, Los Angeles Chargers: In 50 snaps, Ekeler had 19 rushes with six in the red zone. He managed a TD and 67 rushing yards.
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts: Taylor is all the way back for the Colts. Like Ekeler, he had 50 snaps. He saw 23 rushes, with five in the red zone, finishing with 69 rushing yards. And also, like Ekeler, he scored a TD.
Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions: With David Montgomery back, Gibbs wasn’t on the field as much as Ekeler and Taylor, but he had a big impact on Sunday. In 38 snaps, he had 14 rushes, with five in the red zone. He scored two TDs and gained 77 rushing yards on 5.5 yards per carry.
There were a total of eight RBs who were given the chance in the red zone four times. Of those eight, six weren’t able to find the end zone. This is such an important stat because when a coach calls your number near the end zone, he expects you to score. And when you get four chances without scoring, it’s unacceptable. Here they are:
- Javonte Williams, Denver Broncos: 39 snaps, 21 touches.
- Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks: 39 snaps, 19 touches
- James Conner, Arizona Cardinals: 41 snaps, 16 touches
- Ezekiel Elliott, New England Patriots: 23 snaps, 13 touches
- Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys: 54 snaps, 15 touches
- Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons: 19 snaps, 9 touches
Conversely, there were two RBs who only had one red zone touch but managed to score a TD:
- Ty Chandler, Minnesota Vikings: 32 snaps, 15 touches
- Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals: 47 snaps, 11 touches
