Season Stats

Williams has 630 yards and four touchdowns on 34 receptions and 55 targets this season. He has scored at least 10 fantasy points in three straight games, and has only finished below 10 three times this season.

Reed has 693 receiving yards and six scores on 44 grabs and 58 targets. He scored 20 points last week, which was a nice bounceback from a six-point showing the week prior. Reed has four single-digit fantasy performances this season.

Smith, who is working his way back from a hamstring injury, is up to 516 yards and four touchdowns on 41 catches and 56 targets. He only scored 10 fantasy points combined in the last two games he appeared in.

Mooney, who is still listed with an Achilles injury, has 731 yards and five scores on 51 receptions and 88 targets. He’s only scored five fantasy points in each of the past two outings.

Hopkins has racked up 498 yards and four scores on 41 catches and 57 targets. He has four double-digit fantasy outings over the past five weeks.

Jeudy, who is working through a knee injury, has 880 yards and three touchdowns across 54 grabs and 90 targets. He scored a whopping 41 fantasy points last week, but has been over 13 points in each of the past five games.

Wilson has 763 yards and five scores on 74 catches and 117 targets this season. He’s failed to reach double digits for fantasy points in each of the past three games.

Thielen has 265 yards and two touchdowns across 19 receptions and 26 targets in five games played. He scored 24 fantasy points last week, and had nine in his first game back from injury.

Smith-Njigba has accumulated 829 yards and four scores across 70 grabs and 97 targets. He scored 12 fantasy points last week, which was his lowest mark in the past five games.

Meyers has posted 676 yards and two touchdowns on 59 catches and 86 targets. He scored 16 fantasy points last week, and has nine or more in eight straight appearances.

Jennings has 684 yards and four scores on 50 grabs and 70 targets. He’s scored nine fantasy points in two straight games.

Adams has 553 yards and three touchdowns on 49 receptions and 85 targets. He scored 18 fantasy points last week, and has nine or more in five straight.

Addison is up to 575 yards and four scores on 36 grabs and 56 targets. He scored nine fantasy points last week, his lowest mark over the past three contests.

Cooper, who is still listed with a wrist injury, has 386 yards and three touchdowns on 34 catches and 66 targets. He’s only scored 12 fantasy points over the past two weeks combined.

Valdes-Scantling has 263 yards and four touchdowns on 10 receptions and 20 targets this season, Most of those numbers came in the past three weeks, with his 12-point fantasy showing in week 13 being his lowest output over that timeframe.

Week 14 Matchups

Williams and Reed play on Thursday night. It’s a more favorable matchup for Reed, as Detroit’s defense allows opposing wideouts to score 38 fantasy points a week. Green Bay gives up 29 points.

Adams and Wilson go up against the Dolphins on Sunday. It's one of the toughest matchups in the league, as Miami only gives up 27 points per week.

Mooney and Addison are part of the same game on Sunday. Minnesota allows a league-high 40 points a week, while Atlanta gives up 37.

Smith faces the Panthers, who allow 31 points a week. Thielen’s test against the Eagles is tough, as Philly allows 29 points.

Hopkins takes on the Chargers, who are allowing 31 points a game. Jeudy takes on the Steelers, who give up 30 points per contest.

Smith-Njigba will take on the Cardinals, who surrender 33 points per game. Meyers will battle the Buccaneers, who are allowing 37 fantasy points to opposing wideouts.

Jennings goes up against the Bears, who surrender only 28 points per game. Cooper faces the Rams, who allow 33 points per contest. Valdes-Scantling takes on the Giants, who allow 31 fantasy points per week.

Projections and Starting Recommendations

In the weekly PPR projections, Meyers is the top guy in this discussion with 15 points. Smith-Njigba and Jeudy both sit at 14 points.

Wilson, Hopkins, Williams, Reed and Mooney are all at 13 projected points, while Jennings, Adams and Addison are at 12. Cooper, Thielen and Smith check in at 11 points and Valdes-Scantling is last at 10 points.

I like the projections, at least for the top spot, and would take Meyers first. The matchup is great, and on volume receiving numbers alone, Meyers should deliver a big fantasy score.

After that, I’m rolling with Jeudy. Even if you take out his monster week 13 showing, he’s been on a roll. Jeudy should be in store for another big fantasy outing.

I’d then take Smith-Njigba. He too has been one of the top PPR wideouts of late, and in a slightly above-average matchup, I think JSN keeps rolling.

Give me Reed here. With Romeo Doubs out, Reed has a better chance of excelling as a fantasy player on Thursday. I think he’s heavily involved offensively and posts a good/great fantasy score.

I’d then try Mooney. He’s struggled a bit of late, but a super favorable matchup could be exactly what he needs to get back on track.

I’d then take Williams. It’s a bit tougher matchup, but all Williams needs for a good fantasy day is one or two big plays - I think he gets enough to deliver a good fantasy score.

Hopkins is next for me. He’s coming off a couple nice outings, and I think he comes through again this week.

I’d try Addison next. He might be the second, or even third, option on his offense, but the super favorable matchup should help him score a good amount of fantasy points.

Give me Thielen next, which might be a surprise to some. He’s looked good since getting back on the field, and he’s got one of the better matchups remaining, so I wouldn’t mind starting him.

I’d then go with Adams. He’s probably going to start over a lot of the receivers I have going ahead of him, but in a tough matchup, and given the state of the Jets’ offense as a whole, I do not trust Adams this week.

Give me Jennings next. He’s struggled a bit of late, but now that the Niners should be passing a bit more, I think Jennings has some better fantasy days coming. Even in a tougher matchup, I like Jennings to put up a good amount of fantasy points.

I’d then try Smith. Usually, he’d go much higher on my lists, but with his injury, I’m not super confident in him. If he’s cleared and past the injury, he easily could outscore a bunch of the receivers I took ahead of him.

I’d finally take Wilson here. His low ranking mostly has to do with his performance of late, and the tough matchup doesn’t help matters. It looks like Adams is now the No. 1 wideout, although it could flip back to Wilson any week too.

I’d take Valdes-Scantling over Cooper to round things out.

MVS has three solid/good fantasy showings in a row, while Cooper has struggled of late as he works his way back from injury. I trust Valdes-Scantling more in his offense than Cooper in his, even though Cooper has the better quarterback.
