The New York Giants season is really already over. At 2-11, the Giants are already out of playoff contention, and they are already looking toward the future.

New York still has a couple games left, and there are players on the team that will help fantasy teams to wins and maybe even fantasy titles.

It was reported that Drew Lock has a heel injury and that Tommy DeVito would likely start in week 15, so let’s address what that means for the team’s top fantasy players.

Lock vs. DeVito

Lock has appeared in five games and started twice. The team went 0-2 in those games. DeVito has played in two games - the team lost in his lone start.

Lock started the past two weeks. He was 21-of-32 passing for 178 yards, no touchdowns and an interception in week 13. Lock rushed for 57 yards and a score, but also lost a fumble.

Last week, Lock was 21-of-49 passing for 227 yards, no touchdowns and another pick. He rushed for 59 yards on five scrambles.

DeVito started in week 11. He was 21-of-31 passing for 189 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. DeVito rushed for 32 yards on seven attempts.

Neither quarterback is all that great when it comes to passing the ball, and both are pretty good runners. I don’t see a huge difference in them as fantasy options.

With that being said, we can look at the team’s week 15 matchup and determine who might be worth starting.

Week 15 Outlooks

New York takes on Baltimore in week 15. At first glance, that looks like a rough matchup, but there’s actually some favorable fantasy matchups.

DeVito, should he make the start, has a pretty favorable matchup as Baltimore is a bottom-eight defense in slowing fantasy QBs. Even with the favorable matchup, I only view DeVito as a starting option in deeper leagues - I just don’t trust him enough for a standard league start.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. is the top Giants’ back now, while Devin Singletary backs him up.

Last week, Tracy got 21 touches across 65 snaps and scored 14 fantasy points. Singletary played just 14 snaps and got two touches, leading to just a single fantasy point.

Baltimore is a top-10 defense in shutting down opposing backs, which means Singletary shouldn’t be starting in almost every league. Tracy is a flex option, and without seeing your other options, I’d lean against starting him in week 15.

Malik Nabers is the top New York fantasy wideout, while Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton are the other possible starting options.

Nabers has at least nine targets in three straight games. He’s been in double digits as a fantasy scorer in six straight games.

Robinson is a better option in PPR leagues, with a healthy amount of catches and targets every week, but not too many yards. He scored eight fantasy points last week, three the week before that and 10 in the two games before that.

Slayton had some productive games from weeks 4-9, but has scored just eight fantasy points since. He tallied five last week, three the week prior and none in the game before that.

Baltimore is a fantastic matchup for the wideouts, with the Ravens being a bottom-three defense against fantasy wideouts

Nabers is the guy I’d consider for standard league starts. I’m not 100% confident in him, but seeing the favorable matchup, I’m comfortable playing Nabers this week and believe he’ll start in most leagues.

Robinson is a better option because of the matchup, but I’d only truly consider him in deeper leagues. He has a pretty low floor, but enough upside with all his catches to start in a handful of leagues.

Slayton is another deep-league option, but a worse option than Robinson. It’d need to be a pretty deep league to give Slayton a start this week, even in the great matchup.

Theo Johnson is out for the season, so Daniel Bellinger is the team’s top tight end. He played 61 snaps last week and had 45 yards on five catches and seven targets. It was his first game over a single target this season.

Baltimore is another pretty favorable matchup for tight ends, being a bottom-10 defense. Bellinger is a bit of a sneaky fantasy sleeper this week, but given he’s delivered just once this season, I’m skeptical of playing him. If I was going to start him, it’d be in a pretty deep league.
