Week 15 Monday Night Start Decisions and Rankings for RBs and WRs: Raiders' Sincere McCormick or Bears' D'Andre Swift? Vikings' Jordan Addison or Falcons' Darnell Mooney and More
Analyzing the best fantasy football starting options at running back and wide receiver from two Monday night games.
Week 15 of the NFL regular season wraps up with two Monday night games.
Instead of looking at all the best fantasy options in one story, we’re splitting things up because there’s two games to cover. We already looked at quarterbacks and tight ends, and will cover running backs and wide receivers here.

Running Back Options
Alexander Mattison will be back on the field for the Raiders, while Sincere McCormick and Ameer Abdullah are other options. Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier power the Falcons’ backfield.
Aaron Jones and Cam Akers are the top-two backs for Minnesota. D'Andre Swift and Travis Homer are the top Chicago backs, but both were on the injury report this week.
McCormick has been good over the past two weeks, scoring 20 combined fantasy points. He has at least 60 rushing yards in those two games, while adding two receptions in each contest.
Mattison hasn’t played in a few weeks, but has 320 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 97 attempts and 245 receiving yards and a score on 25 receptions and 29 targets. Abdullah had 29 fantasy points over weeks 11-12, but has just eight over the past two weeks combined - with Mattison back and McCormick the leader in the backfield, Abdullah will probably not be too involved.
Robinson has 977 rushing yards and eight scores on 215 attempts. He has 401 receiving yards and a touchdown on 53 grabs and 58 targets. Robinson has scored at least 20 points in two straight contests, and has 10 or more in every game this season.
Allgeier is up to 508 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 102 attempts, while going for 62 yards on 10 catches and targets. He scored 12 fantasy points last week, which was his second-highest mark of the season.
Jones has 893 rushing yards and four scores on 197 attempts, while adding on 302 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 37 receptions and 43 targets. Jones scored 16 fantasy points last week, and has 10 or more in three straight.
Akers got 12 touches and scored a touchdown in week 11, but has just 10 fantasy points in the three games since. He’s gotten 12 rushing attempts and one target in those three games.
Swift is questionable with a groin injury. He’s been playing through injuries for a good portion of the season, but hasn’t topped 10 fantasy points in each of the past two games.
With Roschon Johnson already out, Homer might really be involved offensively if Swift can’t go. Swift had three catches for 11 yards across three targets last week, but only has three rushing attempts this entire season.
In terms of the best running back matchup tonight, it belongs to the Minnesota backs. The Falcons’ backs have a pretty average matchup. The Raiders’ backs have a below-average clash, while the Bears’ running backs have the toughest test.
Robinson is the best fantasy running back option from the two Monday games. He’s got a solid matchup and has been the best fantasy option all season, so I’m trusting him to get the job done again.
Jones slots in second for me, with that pretty favorable matchup helping him out plenty. Jones could really explode if the Bears try to slow the Vikings’ passing game.
If Swift plays, I’d take him third. It’s a risky play given his injury and the tougher matchup, but I trust him more than anyone else left to pick from.
I’d take McCormick third. Having Mattison back hurts his outlook, but I still think McCormick leads the backfield charge. Having an uncertain quarterback situation also doesn’t help McCormick’s fantasy outlook.
Everyone else is just an option in deeper leagues for me.
Homer would go here if Swift isn’t playing. Even if he’s the lead back, I wouldn’t trust him in a standard league.
I’d take Allgeier here, with his season-long offensive involvement giving him the edge over others.
Homer would fall here if Swift plays, but after Allgeier, I'm not a fan of starting any of the remaining backs.
I’d take Mattison, Akers and then Abdullah to round things out. I just don’t see any of these three getting enough touches to be a worthwhile fantasy asset. An injury would be the only reason one of them delivers tonight.

Wide Receiver Options
Las Vegas has Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker who are fantasy wideouts to mention. Atlanta has Drake London, Darnell Mooney and Ray-Ray McCloud.
Minnesota has Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison and Jalen Nailor. Chicago also has a trio, D.J. Moore, Rome Odunze and Keenan Allen.
Meyers has 743 yards and two touchdowns on 66 receptions and 96 targets this season. He’s scored at least 14 fantasy points in three straight games.
Tucker has 432 yards and two scores on 38 catches and 62 targets. He scored just three fantasy points last week after tallying 14 and 15 in the previous two games.
Jefferson has 1,170 yards and seven touchdowns across 75 receptions and 107 targets. He scored 32 fantasy points last week, and has only been in single digits one time (week 12).
Addison is up to 708 yards and seven scores on 44 grabs and 68 targets. He scored 39 fantasy points last week, and has nine or more points in four straight (with 15 or more in three of the games).
Nailor has 270 yards and five touchdowns on 18 catches and 30 targets this season. He’s only scored 12 fantasy points over the past five games, and a touchdown really helps those numbers out.
Odunze has 585 yards and three scores on 45 receptions and 81 targets. He scored 20 fantasy points last week, with two touchdown grabs. Odunze only had 14 combined points over the two weeks before that.
Moore is up to 712 yards and five scores on 68 catches and 104 targets. He scored 11 fantasy points last week, which was his lowest mark over the previous four games.
Allen has totaled 471 yards and five touchdowns on 47 grabs and 84 targets. He tallied just six fantasy points last week after back-to-back 24-point showings.
London now has 866 yards and six scores across 75 receptions and 115 targets. He scored 12 fantasy points last week, and has nine or more in five straight.
Mooney has 873 yards and five touchdowns on 57 catches and 95 targets. He went for 20 fantasy points last week after back-to-back five-point outings.
McCloud has 574 yards and a score on 53 grabs and 72 targets. He scored 16 fantasy points last week, and has 11 or more in three straight and four of the past five contests.
The best matchup tonight belongs to the Bears’ wideouts, although the Raiders’ receivers also have a fantastic matchup on paper. The clash for the Falcons’ wideouts is average, while the test for the Vikings’ wideouts is as tough as it gets (at least coming into the week).
I know the matchup is brutal, but Jefferson is a top-end fantasy wideout for a reason, and I think he’s still easily the best fantasy wideout tonight. Keep trusting your star to deliver.
Give me London over Meyers next. The matchup for London is just average, while Meyers' is fantastic, but I trust London’s offense more.
I’d take a chance on Moore here. It’s risky because the Bears’ top receiver can change between three guys any week, but I like the recent body of work for Moore, so I’m giving him the best ranking.
I’d go with Mooney here. I think he’ll make enough plays to be another good standard league option this week.
Addison is the last wideout tonight that I’d want to start in a standard league. Again, the matchup is not great, but based on what Addison has done of late, I’m giving him another start. He scored 30 fantasy points against the Bears in the team’s first meeting, so that eases my mind too.
In terms of the top deep-league options, I have Odunze atop that list. He scored twice last week, but only scored nine points in the team’s first matchup, so he falls here.
I’d then go with McCloud. He really could probably be a standard league starter, but with no teams on bye, he probably falls just below the start line for most - I still think he’ll have a good showing tonight.
I’d take Allen over Tucker for the last deep-league starting spot. I just trust what Allen has done over the season more than Tucker, especially given the quarterback situation in Las Vegas.
Nailor isn’t a player to start this week, regardless of how deep your league is. He’s now the fourth-best pass-catching in Minnesota, and in a brutal matchup, that’s not a player to play in fantasy.
