The Wild Card Round of the NFL playoffs continued with three Sunday games.

Just like we did for the two Saturday games, let’s recap the action that took place, highlighting the top players for the winning teams in an effort to point out the top fantasy players for upcoming playoff games. We’ll cover both offensive and defensive players, along with kickers.

Buffalo’s Top Offensive Players

Buffalo pulled away in the second half for a 31-7 win over Denver. The Bills had 471 total yards of offense, no turnovers and allowed just two sacks.

Quarterback Josh Allen was 20-of-26 passing for 272 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 46 rushing yards on eight carries.

Running back James Cook ran for 120 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. He was not targeted in the pass game.

Backup RB Ty Johnson had 44 rushing yards on nine carries and 26 receiving yards and a score on two catches and targets.

Wide receiver Curtis Samuel had 68 receiving yards and a touchdown on three grabs and targets. Khalil Shakir had 61 yards on six receptions and targets. Mack Hollins had a 19-yard catch across two targets, Amari Cooper had eight yards on two grabs and three targets, while Keon Coleman had a five-yard catch across three targets.

Tight end Dalton Kincaid finished with 47 yards on three receptions and targets. Dawson Knox added 38 yards on two catches and three targets.

It’s no surprise that Allen led the way. He’s a must-start fantasy player, and is usually either fantasy QB1 or 2 with Lamar Jackson, who he will face in the Divisional Round in maybe the top playoff game in this postseason.

Cook has been a good fantasy asset all season, but him scoring a bunch of touchdowns offset a pretty average rushing season. He’s the clear lead back and would have had even more touches and production if this game had been close. He should stack up well against other backs for the next round.

Johnson has become a sneaky good flex-level fantasy player. He might not get as many touches going forward, but he’s certainly an option after what he did this round.

Ray Davis, who had a three-yard rush on his lone touch, is just a longshot lottery ticket play, and someone who shouldn’t be started unless Cook or Johnson are out.

Samuel hasn’t done much this season, so his performance was a bit of a surprise. I’d much rather trust Shakir, who has functioned as the team’s top receiver most of the season. Hollins is another lottery ticket play, while Cooper and Coleman are tough to trust after two more down performances.

Kincaid and Knox are a couple decent options at TE, but with both involved, they limit each other’s ceilings. We’ll get more into the matchup for the next round later in the week, so check back for that.

Kicker Tyler Bass made all five of his kicks - two extra points and three field goals. His field goals were from 26, 27 and 34 yards.

Bills’ Defensive Leaders

Buffalo’s defense gave up 224 total yards. The Bills didn’t have a takeaway, but posted two sacks.

Terrel Bernard was the Bills’ top tackler, finishing with six combined tackles. He’s second on the team for tackles this season.

Matt Milano and Greg Rousseau each had a sack. Milano had five combined tackles, while Rousseau had two.

Eagles’ Leaders on Offense

Philadelphia earned a 22-10 win over Green Bay. The Eagles had 290 total yards of offense, didn’t turn the ball over and committed seven penalties.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was 13-of-21 passing for 131 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He rushed six times for 36 yards.

Running back Saquon Barkley had 119 rushing yards on 25 carries. He added four receiving yards on two catches and targets.

Backup RB Kenneth Gainwell had 14 rushing yards on three carries and wasn’t targeted in the passing game.

Wide receiver DeVonta Smith went for 55 yards on four catches and targets. Jahan Dotson caught an 11-yard touchdown across his two targets. A.J. Brown was held to 10 yards on a catch and three targets.

Tight end Dallas Goedert had 47 yards and a score on four grabs and six targets. Grant Calcaterra caught a four-yard pass on his lone target.

Hurts looked a little rusty after not playing in a few weeks. He took care of the ball, but was pretty underwhelming as a fantasy performer. I’d expect him to be better in the next round.

Barkley was great as expected, even without a touchdown. He’s going to be the team’s workhorse this postseason, and will remain a great starting option regardless of the defensive matchup he has.

Gainwell would only be a good fantasy asset if Barkley couldn’t play.

Brown’s performance was pretty surprising, and it makes him a bit tougher to trust/play in the next round. Smith and Goedert had good enough showings to continue trusting them moving forward.

Dotson has barely done anything all season, so I wouldn’t put much stock in his touchdown. Calcaterra would only be a good asset if Goedert were out.

Kicker Jake Elliott made three field goals and an extra point (he missed one extra point). His field goals were from 30, 31 and 32 yards.

Philly’s Top Defenders

The Eagles’ defense gave up 302 total yards, but forced four turnovers and had two sacks.

Reed Blankenship led the Eagles with 11 combined tackles and also had a forced fumble.

Nolan Smith had two sacks among his eight tackles. Zack Baun had eight tackles and an interception that he returned 16 yards.

Quinyon Mitchell had six tackles and an interception. Nakobe Dean also had six tackles before he left with an injury.  Darius Slay had the team’s other interception - he had three tackles. Oren Burks had a forced fumble and five tackles.

Commanders’ Top Offensive Players

Washington went into Tampa Bay and earned a 23-20 win. The Commanders had 350 total yards of offense, no turnovers and got sacked just once.

Quarterback Jayden Daniels had 268 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions on 24-of-35 passing. He rushed for an additional 36 yards on 13 carries.

Running back Austin Ekeler had eight rushes for 27 yards and three catches for 26 yards across four targets. Brian Robinson had 16 rushing yards on 10 carries and four receptions for 22 yards across five targets.

Receiver Dyami Brown led the team’s pass catchers with 89 yards and a touchdown across five grabs and targets. Terry McLaurin had 89 yards and a touchdown on seven catches and 10 targets. Olamide Zaccheaus had 19 yards on three grabs and targets.

Tight end Zach Ertz went for 23 yards on two catches and four targets. John Bates failed to catch his only target.

Daniels was pretty good in his playoff debut. He took care of the ball and made plenty of big plays with his arm and legs. Daniels will remain a good fantasy option for as long as the Commanders are in the playoffs.

Neither Ekeler nor Robinson look like good fantasy options because they are splitting the backfield and both capable of helping out in the passing game. We’ll cover them in detail later in the week, so check back for that.

McLaurin is the team’s top pass catcher, and remains a good starting option going forward. Brown could be a sneaky sleeper option for next round, but he’s definitely a riskier play. Zaccheaus is in the same boat as Brown, just without much production in the first round.

Ertz is still a solid fantasy option, but his performance this round shows he could also be a pretty big bust. Bates would only be really involved if Ertz were out moving forward.

Zane Gonzalez made all five of his kicks - two extra points and three field goals, including the game-winning kick as time expired. His field goals were from 22, 37 and 52 yards.

Washington’s Best Defenders

The Commanders' defense gave up 284 total yards. Washington had a takeaway and one sack.

Bobby Wagner had a half-sack across eight combined tackles, along with a fumble recovery. He’s a good weekly option for as long as Washington is alive.

Jeremy Chinn is another good option after posting eight tackles on Sunday. Marshon Lattimore isn’t quite as good an option, but did have seven tackles this week. Dorance Armstrong Jr. had a half-sack across four tackles.
