November 4 Fantasy Hockey Streamers: Leon Draisaitl, Joel Edmundson, Alex Laferriere and More
With just two games on Monday, we look at the matchup each team presents in terms of fantasy hockey.
The NHL schedule on Monday is about as short as could be: We only have two games. Where we know what we’re getting each day during the NFL season, the NBA and NHL vary on a somewhat random basis from day to day.
That makes things a little tougher in fantasy land, especially if you put minimal work into your team each day or week. Pulling up your fantasy team at Monday’s lunch break and seeing you only have one-eighth of the league to choose from can cause a little panic.
Let’s look at the four teams in action on Monday and who might provide the best matchups for fantasy hockey purposes. I will list the players most involved in the action for each team regardless of the matchup.
I try not to list injured players, but always check actives/inactives to ensure that everyone in your lineup is playing. Stats are from NHL.com.
Los Angeles Kings @ Nashville Predators
The Kings have allowed just the 30th-most shots per game but the 12th-most goals. Nashville ranks 20th in shots allowed per game and eighth in goals per game allowed.

New Jersey Devils @ Edmonton Oilers
New Jersey has given up the 25th-most shots and 22nd-most goals per game. The Oilers rank 29th and 17th, respectively.
This game offers middling or worse matchups. The Kings/Predators game probably offers better fantasy streaming options, while the Devils/Oilers are more to fill empty spaces.
