November 6 Fantasy Hockey Goalie Matchup Rankings: Adin Hill, Charlie Lindgren, Alex Lyon, and More
Wednesday's goalie matchups by the measure of opponent shots per game and goals per game rankings.
After 22 teams were in action yesterday, we have just three games on Wednesday, providing fantasy owners only six starting goalies from which to choose. Like every position in every fantasy sport, goalies are at the mercy of their opponents as much as their own skills.
When looking at the best goalie matchups in fantasy hockey, I’m looking for teams who shoot a lot and don’t score many goals. This provides more quality save opportunities, boosting fantasy numbers.
I like to look at the ranking of each team in shots per game and goals per game and compare those rankings to give every team a matchup score: a positive number means that team shoots more and scores less.
I listed both goalies who have played for each team, so check starters before game time to ensure you have the right guy in your lineup. Stats are from NHL.com.
