Colts’ cornerback Kenny Moore came away with an interception in the Colts’ preseason opener against the Denver Broncos.
Coming away with this interception was a group effort. On a second and 20, rookie defensive end Laiatu Latu pressured quarterback Jarrett Stidham who then threw to running back Samaje Perine in the flat.
It looked like Perine started to turn upfield before fully securing the ball, and as he often is, linebacker Zaire Franklin was nearby to further complicate things for the Denver running back. With the ball being batted around, Moore was in position to make the interception

It was only one play, but on AD Mitchell’s first catch with the Indianapolis Colts, we saw his ability to separate.
With 4.34 speed, Mitchell brings a new element to the Colts’ passing game. That explosiveness and suddenness as a route runner helps him create space from the defensive backs.
On the Colts’ third possession of the game, with Joe Flacco in at quarterback, Mitchell was lined up on the boundary and picked up 11 yards while getting open on a comeback route, moving the chains
Colts’ defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and cornerback JuJu Brents won’t be playing in the team’s preseason opener against the Denver Broncos.
According to George Bremer, rest is the official reason that Buckner won’t be suiting up, while Brents’ absence is precautionary as he deals with a shouler issue, although if this were the regular season, he would be playing.
Both players sat out of Friday’s practice as well. As far as Buckner goes, playing in the preseason isn’t much of a necessity for him
