PPR Specialist Plummets Down Draft Boards After Offseason Shoulder Surgery

Operating behind J.K. Dobbins in the Denver backfield, RJ Harvey remains a vital piece of the passing game. Last season, he caught 47 passes for 356 yards, showing a reliable floor in PPR formats. Our models project similar passing-game involvement this season, with 45 receptions for 323 yards and three touchdowns.

However, Harvey's fantasy stock is heavily sliding. After peaking with an ADP in the early 30s in late May, his draft value plummeted to 65 following mid-June surgery to repair a torn labrum. This steep drop makes him a risky acquisition, though his falling price could transform him into a draft-day value if his recovery stays on track.

If Harvey can replicate his previous durability, we project him to compile 171.4 fantasy points. He should split work with Dobbins while keeping rookie Jonah Coleman at bay. Fantasy managers can view him as a volatile, low-end RB2 or flex option with notable pass-catching upside.
