Leaner Profile and Year Three Ambitions Fuel Sleeper Appeal in Carolina

Xavier Legette enters his third NFL season determined to rebound after a disappointing 2025 campaign where he caught 39 passes for 393 yards. Listed as a starting outside receiver opposite rookie Tetairoa McMillan, Legette has reportedly dropped weight to get in the best shape of his career. He will catch passes from Bryce Young in an offense desperate for reliable playmakers.

Despite his physical rejuvenation, our models remain conservative, projecting Legette for just 24 receptions, 279 yards, and two touchdowns. His low rostered rate of 11% reflects fantasy managers' hesitation after his target share dipped to 73 last year. He must clean up the mishaps that plagued his previous season to earn consistent opportunities.

His draft stock has been highly volatile, fluctuating wildly in the late rounds but currently settling around an ADP in the 600s.
