Former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Mike Strachan signed with the Carolina Panthers practice squad Wednesday, per his agent David Canter.

Strachan was released from the Colts practice squad Tuesday in order to make room for the three new additions. The former seventh-round pick in Strachan always had potential but never seemed to find his way into a role on the active roster.

A third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Robinson has played in 41 games for the Commanders, making 37 starts. In 2024, he appeared in 14 games and got off to a strong start. Unfortunately, nagging injuries cost Robinson some time, and his performance waned in the second half of the season.

As part of roster cutdowns, the Indianapolis Colts are reportedly waiving running back Demetric Felton, according to Joel Erickson of the Indy Star.

All teams must have their initial 53-man rosters set by 4:00 PM ET on Tuesday, August 27th. If Felton goes unclaimed on waivers he will become a free agent and can sign with any team.
