Please remember to “prop shop” and make sure you are looking at all the sportsbooks in your state to get the best value. This may require you to open multiple accounts at various sportsbooks across your state. It is totally worth it to find the best odds so you don’t pay more of a premium than you have to.

Best NBA Prop Bets 1/12

Jalen Johnson, Atlanta Hawks OVER 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Johnson has been a revelation this season for Atlanta and has stepped into the role of their top frontcourt player. He’s -155 to hit this OVER against an Indiana team that lets up points in droves.

Jabari Smith, Houston Rockets OVER 8.5 Rebounds

Cade Cunningham and Bogddan Bogdanovic are out for Detroit, and Isaiah Stewart is expected back but doubtful to play a full load of minutes. Smith is -148 to go over this prop, as he should have no one besides Jalen Duren competing with him for any rebounds.

Keegan Murray, Sacramento Kings OVER 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Kevin Huerter is out for Sacramento, and while most people will be betting on Sabonis to go over PRA with Joel Embid out, I like Murray to play a full load of minutes in what could be a potential blowout. He’s -126 to go over this prop, which makes me somewhat wary, but if Philadelphia plays small ball, he should stay on the court.

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors OVER 5.5 Assists

No Chris Paul should mean that Steph has his hands on the ball more and dishes out the dimes. Look for him to rack up this prop by the end of the third quarter.
