Morgan puts together a couple DraftKings NBA lineups for February 4.

I’m back with more fantasy basketball DFS action! I’m going to switch things up a bit with two DraftKings lineups.

In one lineup, only players from the Lakers, Clippers game can be used. There’s a “Captain” who costs 1.5 times more than usual, but also scores 1.5 times the amount of fantasy points. I then have to take five other players from that game, while still staying under the $50,000 budget.

In the second lineup, there’s no budget, and the goal is to pick players who score the most points tonight. You can only choose three players.

Let’s dive into the two lineups!

Lakers, Clippers DFS Lineup

Captain - Ivica Zubac ($14,100)

I decided on Zubac as my “Captain.” He’s averaging 42.4 fantasy points per game on DraftKings over the past 10 days, and has a reasonable enough salary to times it by half.

He’s got a more favorable matchup with Anthony Davis gone, and scored 57.75 fantasy points in the team’s last meeting. Need any more reason to take Zubac? Because you shouldn't.

Utility - Norman Powell ($8,800)

I decided on Powell next. He’s averaging 41.8 fantasy points over the past 10 days.

He scored 34.5 points the last time the teams met on January 19, and he’s eclipsed that mark in all six appearances since. Powell gives you pretty good bang for your buck.

Utility - Rui Hachimura ($6,600)

I went with Hachimura next. He’s averaging 27.4 fantasy points over the past 10 days, but scored 32.8 points in his last game.

He “only” scored 29.75 in the team’s last matchup, but for this salary, I’d take that kind of night.

Utility - Jaxson Hayes ($5,600)

I decided to take the other starting center and try Hayes, who should start again with Davis out and no great other options for the Lakers.

He’s averaging 16 fantasy points per game over the past 10 days. Hayes only scored 11.5 fantasy points against the Clippers in the last meeting, but that was with a different role and players around. He should fare better tonight if he can avoid foul trouble.

Utility - Derrick Jones Jr. ($5,200)

I went with Jones next. He’s averaging 21.1 fantasy points per game over the past 10 days.

Jones has had some big fantasy performances of late, but he only tallied 18 points in the last clash with the Lakers. I think he stays hot and scores more tonight.

Utility - Kawhi Leonard ($9,000)

I ended things with Leonard, who is averaging 34.8 fantasy points over the past 10 days. He scored 28.25 in the last game against the Lakers.

One final note before we move on, but I have $700 leftover. That leaves room to make changes if you are not a fan of one of my picks, plus leave wiggle room if a player is a late scratch.

Points Scored Lineup

1. Jayson Tatum

We’ll start this lineup off with Tatum, who is averaging 26.9 points per game on the season. He has averaged 24.2 points over the past 10 days.

Tatum has had plenty of success against the Cavaliers earlier in the regular season. In the last meeting, Tatum scored 33 points on 12-of-27 shooting. He was 11-for-22 on his way to 33 more points in the team’s other meeting.

It’s a pretty average defensive matchup on paper, but Tatum is a star and can get his points against anybody.

2. Tyler Herro

I’m going with Herro next. He’s averaging 23.8 points per game this season and has 22 per game over the past 10 days.

Somehow the Heat haven’t played the Bulls this season. It’s a fantastic fantasy matchup for Herro.

3. Pascal Siakam

I took Siakam as my last choice. He is averaging 20.5 points per game this season, but is at 25.5 points over the past 10 days.

In a meeting earlier this season, Siakam scored 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting. Portland is another pretty average matchup for a forward, but I trust Siakam’s numbers of late, and that first meeting between the teams.

Honorable Mentions

There were a number of players I considered for the points lineup.

Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brunson, Joel Embiid, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kyrie Irving, Norman Powell, LeBron James, Donovan Mitchell and Jaylen Brown are among some of the star players possibly in action tonight.

Darius Garland, Kristaps Porzingis, Kawhi Leonard, Bam Adebayo, Tyrese Haliburton and Scottie Barnes are some other notable players with high projections in points tonight.

There’s a bunch of different three-player combos you could come up with, so what will your lineup look like?
