It's time to go over some more NBA trades that took place on Wednesday, February 5.

We'll discuss the fantasy impact of each trade, for the players involved and other players on those teams. Let's go!

Warriors Land Butler in Four-Team Deal

The big trade on Wednesday was the Golden State Warriors landing Jimmy Butler in a four-team deal.

Dennis Schroder was sent to the Utah Jazz. The Detroit Pistons acquired Lindy Waters III and Josh Richardson. The Miami Heat got P.J. Tucker, Andrew Wiggins, Kyle Anderson and a protected first-round pick in the deal.

Butler has been in trade rumors for most of the season and finally got dealt. He's been suspended by the Heat several times, but should be locked in now after a trade. He's going to sign a new deal with the Warriors, two years for $111 million.

Butler's fantasy value is down after missing so many games, but he should thrive in Golden State alongside Stephen Curry. Both guys should see an increase to their fantasy values after this deal.

Because Butler was swapped for Wiggins, there shouldn't be too many fantasy values impacted by the team. If anything, it might hurt the outlooks for guys like Buddy Hield, Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Draymond Green and others. Keep an eye on the Warriors' box scores over the next couple games to see who might have a big role and decent fantasy value. Golden State has mixed and matched its lineup all season, and I think it will continue to do so outside Curry and Butler.

As long as Wiggins, Tucker and Anderson stay in Miami, here's how I see that affecting the Heat.

Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are likely to lead the team offensively now. Kel'el Ware has taken on a larger role of late, and should remain a good fantasy asset after this trade.

Wiggins should be able to post similar numbers to the ones he had in Golden State, maybe with a little decrease in scoring. Duncan Robinson is likely to be the fifth starter, and might lose a little value with another scorer consistently in the mix now.

Terry Rozier, Nikola Jovic and Jaime Jaquez Jr. should remain solid fantasy options despite likely coming off the bench when the team is at full strength. I don't see Tucker or Anderson being big fantasy assets in Miami, if they are retained.

Waters and Richardson are not likely to have much of an impact in Detroit, but it's worth watching the team's box scores anyways.

I'm not sure if Schroder will stick in Utah for the rest of the season. Utah already has several guards on the roster, and I don't think younger players will lose time because of the veteran Schroder.

Lakers Land a Big

The Los Angeles Lakers got their big man after trading for Mark Williams. It cost the Lakers a lot: Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish and some picks.

Williams will get a nice boost to his fantasy value after the trade. He should start alongside LeBron James, Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic when the team is at full health.

This trade will negatively impact Jaxson Hayes, who had been a popular waiver wire addition after the trade of Anthony Davis. Moving Knecht could open some more opportunities for Shake Milton, Gabe Vincent, Dorian Finney-Smith and others. I don't think the Lakers are done trading yet though.

The trade should also be a good thing for Knecht. He could start at the 2 guard alongside LaMelo Ball. If Knecht doesn't start, he should play consistent minutes off the bench to at least be a fantasy option in deeper leagues.

The trade could hurt the fantasy outlook for Nick Smith Jr., who had been surging of late. Let things play out before making a decision on whether to keep him or not.

I do not see Reddish getting a ton of playing time with Charlotte, if he even sticks on the roster.ย

Raptors Trade for Brandon Ingram

In a bit of a surprising move, the Toronto Raptors traded for Brandon Ingram. The New Orleans Pelicans got Bruce Brown, Kelly Olynyk and some picks in return.

Ingram has battled injuries again this season, but will join a fun starting lineup of Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, Scottie Barnes and Jakob Poeltl. Ingram's fantasy outlook probably will take a little bit of a hit with so much other talent in the starting lineup, but fantasy owners should just be happy if he returns to the court.

The addition of Ingram might negatively impact Barnes, Barrett and the other Toronto starters, but the team is going to be better in the long run because of this deal.

Gradey Dick probably has a clearer path to playing time, even if it's a reserve role. Ochai Agbaji, Chris Boucher, Jamal Shead and Davion Mitchell are some other reserves to keep an eye on moving forward, but probably will all just be deep-league options.

I'm not sure how big of roles Brown and Olynyk might have in New Orleans, if they even stay on the team. Brown looks pretty buried on the depth chart, while Olynyk could maybe carve out a big man role in time.

Moving Ingram should open minutes for Javonte Green, Trey Murphy III, Brandon Boston Jr., Brown and others. Keep an eye on the Pelicans' box scores to see how things shake out.

Jericho Sims Headed to Milwaukee

Apparently, the Milwaukee Bucks' and WashingtonWizards' trade wasn't quite done after all yesterday. The New York Knicks got involved, sending Jericho Sims to Milwaukee for Delon Wright and cash.

Sims gives the Bucks an athletic big man, which they've been coveting all season. He's stuck behind Brook Lopez and Bobby Portis right now, but one of those guys could be traded, which would make Sims an intriguing fantasy asset off the Bucks' bench.

Wright wasn't playing much for Milwaukee, but him being moved probably means more playing time for AJ Green, Ryan Rollins and Gary Trent Jr. Not much else is really affected by swapping Wright for Sims.

I'm not sure if Wright will even stick in New York, but he seems very unlikely to carve out a role considering all the guards the Knicks already have.

Losing Sims is a bit of a blow to New York's post positions, but with Mitchell Robinson nearing a return, that void should only be felt for a little while. I don't think this trade affects the Knicks all that much.

Kings Land Jonas Valanciunas from Wizards

The Sacramento Kings may have traded De'Aaron Fox the other day, but they appear to be committed to still competing after seeing the players they got back in some trades.ย

They got Zach LaVine in the Fox deal and then traded for Jonas Valanciunas on Wednesday. Sacramento sent the Wizards Sidy Cissoko and two second-round picks.

Valanciunas is a double-double threat any time he takes the court, even though he was playing less than half of most games. I expect him to get enough minutes in Sacramento to remain around his current fantasy value.

Valanciunas can give the Kings some lineup versatility. He could maybe play alongside Domantas Sabonis at times, and Keegan Murray at other times.ย

This deal will take away the fantasy value that Trey Lyles had built up of late. Not much else should be affected in Sacramento.

Alexandre Sarr should be given a bigger role with Valanciunas out of the picture. Richaun Holmes and Justin Champagnie are among some post players who could take on more minutes and be better fantasy assets as a result of the trade.

Other Deals

There were three more trades that went through on Wednesday, but I do not see any of them having big fantasy impacts on anybody. I'm at least going to mention the trades so you can keep an eye on those players and teams involved.

The Oklahoma City Thunder got Daniel Theis and a second-round pick from the Pelicans for cash.

The Houston Rockets landed Jaden Springer and a second-round pick from the Boston Celtics in exchange for another second-round pick.

The Pistons added Kenyon Martin Jr.ย and two second-round picks from the Philadelphia 76ers for cash.

I didn't cover the trade that went through on Tuesday, February 4, but the Dallas Mavericks and 76ers swapped Caleb Martin (to Dallas) for Quentin Grimes and a second-round pick.
