With so many NBA trades happening over the past few days, teams are playing guys who they might not otherwise as they wait for traded players to settle into their new homes.

So instead of going over the top fantasy performances from Wednesday, we'll go back to discussing waiver wire options from the FantasySP page.

Let's get right to it!

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including waiver pickups, projections, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant. Use our fantasy basketball trade analyzer and the Trade Value Chart to break down trade scenarios.

Moussa Diabate Fantasy Outlook

Diabate is the most-added waiver player at the time of publication. He's up 11.26% and sitting at 22.92% overall now.

Charlotte sent away Mark Williams on Wednesday and traded Nick Richards a couple weeks back. That leaves a big void at center for Charlotte, and Diabate is one of the few remaining options for the Hornets at that position.

Diabate is a two-way player right now, but could have his contract converted to a standard one. He's averaged 18.7 minutes over 41 games and four starts this season, so it's not like he hasn't held a decent role.

His minutes should increase now, and maybe it will help him improve on his averages of 4.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 0.7 steals and blocks. Those are just numbers you would consider in a deep fantasy league, but the extra minutes and bigger role should have him on everyone's watch list for a little while.

Matas Buzelis Fantasy Outlook

Buzelis is up 10.73% and sitting at 43.07% overall. He'd been playing more of late already, but the trade of Zach LaVine is also helping his own percentage soar.

On Tuesday, he made all 10 of his shots on his way to a 24-point showing. He followed that up by posting 14 points, five rebounds, one assist, two steals and three blocks across 29 minutes in a start on Wednesday.

His averages should steadily rise if he continues to play around 30 minutes a game, and it's possible he takes on an even larger role if the Bulls make another trade or two.

Buzelis is someone who should be rostered in most deep leagues, and all keeper/dynasty leagues already. I'd keep a close eye on him in standard leagues too, as he might work his way into streaming territory, or more.

Max Christie Fantasy Outlook

Christie was traded from the Lakers to the Mavericks as part of the Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis deal. Christie got a 9.85% bump today, bringing his total mark to 28.46%.

In his first game with Dallas, Christie was great, tallying 15 points, nine rebounds, three assists and one steal across 32 minutes off the bench.

Even if he comes off the bench, Christie showed he can be a good fantasy asset with his new team. His own percentage will only continue to rise if he puts up similar statlines in the games to come, so you might have to act quickly if you want Christie.

He should be rostered in most keeper/dynasty leagues, and might be owned in most deeper leagues in short order. Like Buzelis, he's another player who could become streamable in standard leagues, if not becoming a player to hold in those leagues.

Bilal Coulibaly Fantasy Outlook

Coulibaly is up 8.9% and sitting at 75.57% overall now.

His fantasy outlook got a little bump after the team traded Kyle Kuzma for Khris Middleton. As I wrote yesterday, I don't expect Middleton to stick in Washington, so Coulibaly should be able to take on a larger role and be a better fantasy asset with Kuzma out and nobody there to replace him.

Coulibaly is already averaging 12.5 points, 5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.8 blocks over 33.1 minutes in 46 games played this season. He should play a similar amount of minutes going forward, but a couple more points and rebounds as his role changes has the chance to up his averages and make Coulibaly someone to maybe hold on to in standard leagues.

If you have a roster spot to play with, Coulibaly is someone I'd recommend adding. You don't have to play him, but you at least could stash him in case he really takes off on the new-look Wizards.

Cole Anthony Fantasy Outlook

The Magic haven't made any drastic changes to their roster yet, so Anthony is seeing his own percentage rise because of his play on the court. He's up 8.54% and owned in 46.85% of leagues now.

Over the past four games, Anthony has averaged 19.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal and block across 25.6 minutes. He's only started one of those games.

His season averages of 9.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks across 17.1 minutes in 47 games and nine starts don't look nearly as appealing. For the time being though, Anthony is a good deep-league option, and someone I'd add and start immediately in those setups.

I don't think he'd ever become a fantasy player you hold in standard leagues, but a trade could alter his fantasy outlook, so he's worth keeping a close eye on.

Dalton Knecht Fantasy Outlook

Knecht was traded from the Lakers to the Hornets on Wednesday. As a result, the rookie's own percentage has risen 8.49% and he sits at 22.67% overall now.

Knecht has a good chance at starting for the Hornets, or at the very least, holding a consistent big role. He averaged 20.7 minutes per game in his time with the Lakers, and Knecht now has a chance to play close to 30 minutes a night. That should allow him to put up pretty solid fantasy numbers.

Knecht was already a player to roster in keeper/dynasty leagues, and now he's getting a boost in deeper leagues. It might take just one game for him to show his potential in Charlotte, so his own percentage could really skyrocket - if you want him, you might need to add him now.

Knecht could also become a standard league option if he really takes off with the Hornets. He's worth keeping tabs on the first few games and weeks with the Hornets.

Other Waiver Options

On the waiver wire page, there's 25 players listed at all times. Many of them are being added after their teams made a trade, or because of big fantasy performances earlier in the week.

Keon Johnson continues to see his own percentage rise. He's at 40.05% overall after another 5.97% bump today.

Nick Smith Jr., who I think could see his role decrease a bit after the trade for Knecht, is up 5.37% and sitting at 16.54% overall. Even with Knecht around, Smith could play enough minutes to be a decent fantasy asset, and his own percentage could continue to rise.

Kelly Olynyk was traded from the Raptors to the Pelicans on Wednesday. His own percentage is up 4.39% and sitting at 12.85% overall now. Even if Olynyk doesn't stay in New Orleans, he should latch on with another team, so I like the idea of adding him in some deeper leagues.

Jordan Clarkson is up 4.25% and owned in 61.71% of leagues overall. He recently returned from a long absence, so that's why he's seeing his own percentage rise.

Bobby Portis got added in 3.68% of leagues and is rostered in 76.07% overall now. He also just returned from a little absence. Portis could be traded before the deadline, so adding him could pay off big if he lands a big role after the deadline passes.

Keon Ellis is up 3.53% and sitting at 24.43% overall now. He's performed well of late, which explains his own percentage rising.

Brandin Podziemski is up 3.39% and rostered in 44.58% of leagues overall now. The Warriors brought in Jimmy Butler on Wednesday, but also shipped out Andrew Wiggins. Podz should retain a big role moving forward and is more being added for his recent level of play.

Kuzma is up 3.29% and sits at 84.63% overall after his trade to the Bucks. I think his fantasy outlook improves a touch, and it's at least worth adding him to see if his value goes up.

Royce O'Neale was added in 2.38% of leagues and is rostered in 19.01% overall now. The team has been involved in trade talks with its biggest players, but O'Neale's play on the court is why he's being added in fantasy leagues.

Mike Conley (up 2.35%, 40.81% overall) and Naz Reid (up 1.68%, 94.96% overall) are two Timberwolves on the waiver wire list. The team hasn't made any big moves yet, but strong fantasy play has them on the rise.

Isaiah Collier is up 2.35% and rostered in 48.87% overall. He's also being added because of good fantasy production.

Zach Edey (up 2.31%, 72.29% overall) and GG Jackson II (up 2.16%, 11.59% overall) are also surging upward because of good fantasy showings lately.

Washington's Corey Kispert (up 2.2%, 14.11% overall), Kyshawn George (up 2.08%, 6.55% overall) and Richaun Holmes (up 1.55%, 3.04% overall) are being added in case they take on larger roles after Kuzma was traded. If Middleton sticks in Washington, I don't anticipate any of those three being better fantasy assets.

Karlo Matkovic is up 2.03% and owned in 2.53% of leagues overall now. He's played well of late, and could be in store for a larger role moving forward.

Christian Braun is up 1.87% and rostered in 90.43% overall. He's rising after good fantasy production of late.
