Jeff Dowtin Jr. Fantasy Outlook
Dowtin is up to 16.27% rostered after a 10.8% increase. He's scored in double figures in six straight games.
Philly is working through several injuries to big-name players, so guys like Dowtin have been getting a ton of playing time and taking advantage of it. He's scored at least 14 points in four straight games and hit 20 points twice.
In that six-game stretch, Dowtin has averaged 15.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.3 blocks across 24 minutes - he's started just one of those games. There's not enough production there to consider in standard leagues, or even leagues that are a bit deeper, but in some really deep leagues, Dowtin has some fantasy value.
If he continues to play at this level, he could see his own percentage continue to rise. Unless he ups his other averages (outside scoring) some more, Dowtin will likely top out as a deep-league option though.
Cason Wallace Fantasy Outlook
Wallace was added in 8.65% of leagues and is now owned in 53.57% of leagues. He had scored in double figures in three straight games before a nine-point outing on Sunday.
Over the past four games, Wallace has started three times, averaging 30.6 minutes per contest. He's also averaged 13.8 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 2.3 steals and 0.5 blocks.
Again, there's enough fantasy value there to roster him in deeper leagues, but his inconsistent outings will likely hold him back from being a standard league threat this season.
I do like the idea of adding and holding him in most leagues deeper than standard setups. He's a pretty consistent performer and should be held onto instead of added and dropped as his performance excels and tapers off.
Justin Champagnie Fantasy Outlook
Champagnie is up 8.39% today and is at 37.3% overall. He's scored 33 combined points over the past two games, so it's easy to see why he's on the rise.
Champagnie is shooting 12-of-19 over those two games, so this isn't something he can sustain for super long. He's averaging 11 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 1.5 assists in those two games as well, so he's not just scoring more.
Washington is looking at which players might be able to help the team in the coming years, and until he cools off, I like adding Champagnie. I'd need to see a couple-week stretch of this level of play before considering Champagnie in a standard league, but right now, adding him in deeper leagues makes plenty of sense to me.
Day'Ron Sharpe Fantasy Outlook
Sharpe got a 5.99% boost to bring his total mark to 32.94%. He hasn't scored in double figures in a game since February 26, but he's filled up the stat sheet pretty well otherwise, so it makes sense to see him on the rise.
In his last 10 appearances (one start), Sharpe is averaging 5.8 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.1 blocks across 19 minutes a game. Over the past five games, he's averaging 8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.4 steals and 0.8 blocks across 19.7 minutes.
The points and assists result in some pretty solid fantasy outings for Sharpe, but the lack of playing time is holding him back from being even more valuable. I personally think his own percentage is about as high as it should get. There's got to be some better fantasy options available to you in your leagues.
Orlando Robinson Fantasy Outlook
Robinson is up 5.88% and is rostered in 51.19% of leagues now. He's continued to rise as a fantasy asset after now scoring in double figures in four straight games.
Over that stretch, Robinson has 15.5 points, 9.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 0.8 blocks over 30.6 minutes a game. He's started just once in those four games, but continues to deliver big numbers on a battered and bruised Raptors' team.
His own percentage has skyrocketed over the past week or so, and I think he's getting close to his top-end own percentage mark. If Robinson continues to put up similar numbers, some standard league fantasy owners will probably give him a chance, but I'd personally look elsewhere. I do think Robinson should be owned in just about every league that isn't a standard setup.
Tre Jones Fantasy Outlook
Jones is up 5.87% today and is owned in 50.79% of leagues overall. Jones has been pretty good for the Bulls since settling in.
In the past nine games (six starts), Jones is averaging 14 points, 3.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks across 28.6 minutes. He's scored in double figures in all but two of those games, missing by three points combined in the two single-digit outings.
There's enough fantasy value there to give Jones a try in most deeper leagues. Again though, I think his fantasy ceiling stops there, and that there's better standard league options available to you, like the next guy we'll talk about.
Kyle Filipowski Fantasy Outlook
Filipowski got another 5.22% boost, bringing his total to 59.13%. He's bounced back from a couple of down games, so it's fair to see his own percentage on the rise again.
He's combined for 28 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, four steals and one block over the past two games. Since February 7 (19 games, seven starts), Filipowski is averaging 13.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.3 blocks.
Filipowski has more dynasty/keeper value as just a 21-year-old, but there's enough fantasy value there to roster him in most deeper leagues. Sure, his production rises and falls based on who else Utah has out there, but in deeper leagues, his fantasy floor is still good enough to hold on to him for the long run.
He might need an injury to Walker Kessler to be rosterable in all standard leagues, but I do think Filipowski should be owned in just about all other leagues.
Other Waiver Wire Options
Dallas' Kessler Edwards is eighth on the waiver list, up 4.02% and sitting at 32.54% overall. Teammate Brandon Williams got added in 2.47% of leagues and is owned in 57.94% overall, while P.J. Washington is rostered in 92.25% of leagues after a 2.23% increase.
Golden State's Moses Moody is up to 29.37% after a 3.98% increase. Portland's Donovan Clingan is up 3.62% and at 56.75% overall, while Scoot Henderson got a 2.6% increase and is owned in 66.27% of leagues.
Philadelphia's Jared Butler is also on the list, up 3.48% and rostered in 22.62% overall. OKC's Luguentz Dort is owned in 44.44% of leagues after a 3.03% increase.
New York's Miles McBride got added in 2.85%, as did Boston's Jrue Holiday. McBride is up to 57.54% rostered, while Holiday is at 82.54%.
Milwaukee's Taurean Prince is up 2.61% and at 17.06% overall. Teammate Kevin Porter Jr. is owned in 17.46% of leagues after a 2.23% increase.
Toronto's A.J. Lawson was added in 2.37% of leagues and is up to 26.59% overall. Washington's Marcus Smart is up 2.28% today and at 21.03% overall.
Atlanta's Zaccharie Risacher got a 2.16% bump and sits at 38.49% overall. Phoenix's Tyus Jones is up to 64.29% owned after a 1.79% increase.
Brooklyn's Tyrese Martin is up 2.08%, while teammate Ziaire Williams was added in 1.77% of leagues. Martin is rostered in 7.94% of leagues, while Williams is at 38.1%.
