After looking at the most-added fantasy basketball players, let's take a look at who is being dropped.

The drops were pulled from the FantasySP waiver trends most dropped tab, which can be found on any fantasy basketball page on the site.

Justin Champagnie Fantasy Outlook

Champagnie is down 7.2% today and sitting at 30% overall. He didn't play in the team's last game and only logged 19 minutes off the bench in the contest before that.

Champagnie scored five points in his last game, but combined for 33 points over the two games before that. If he's not on the court now though, there's no point in holding him.

He'll need to crack the rotation again and deliver good results before he's startable in most leagues.

Ty Jerome Fantasy Outlook

Jerome was dropped in 3.9% of leagues and is now owned in 49% of leagues. He's played pretty good of late, so I'm not understanding why he's being dropped.

The deep-league asset has scored in double figures in four straight games. Jerome has 48 points, 16 assists, four rebounds and one steal over that span.

Usually Jerome is a bit more than just a scorer, but I think he's scoring enough and has enough other stats to keep rostering and utilizing him in deeper leagues. I'd heavily consider adding him in a deeper league if he becomes available.

Miles McBride Fantasy Outlook

McBride saw his own percentage drop 3.8%, bringing his total to 65%. He failed to score in double figures in his last game, marking the first time in the past six games that he's scored in single digits.

In that span, McBride has accumulated 81 points, 17 rebounds, 30 assists, eight steals and four blocks.

McBride has taken on a larger role without Jalen Brunson active. Brunson isn't close to returning yet, so I'd keep utilizing McBride in the meantime. However, I think his own percentage was a touch high, so a little drop was needed.

Obi Toppin Fantasy Outlook

Toppin is down 3.8% as well - his total percentage is 22. He only scored seven points in the team's last game, so it's easy to see why he's being dropped.

It was just three games ago that Toppin scored 34 points and grabbed 10 rebounds though, and it's not like he's a completely useless fantasy asset when he's not scoring.

For the season, he's averaging 10.3 points, 4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.3 blocks across 19.5 minutes a game. There's enough fantasy value there, despite the lack of big minutes, to keep using Toppin in deeper fantasy leagues.

He'll probably hover between 15-30% rostered the rest of the season.

Brandon Clarke Fantasy Outlook

Clarke was dropped in 3.6% of leagues and is down to 17%. He's out for Friday's game with a knee injury.

In his last game, he played just five minutes, tallying just one rebound and no other stats. Like Champagnie, if Clarke isn't playing, there's no reason to hold him in fantasy.

For the season, Clarke is averaging 8.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1 assist, 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks across 18.9 minutes. There's enough there to play him in deeper leagues when he's healthy, but it's also a pretty easily replicated statline, so finding a fill-in while he's out makes sense.

Jared Butler Fantasy Outlook

Butler is down 3.1% today and is rostered in 29% of leagues. He's alternated single- and double-digit performances over the past six contests, and fantasy owners are dropping him after a down performance.

In that six-game span, Butler has racked up 73 points, 17 rebounds, 34 assists, six steals and two blocks. That's still decent fantasy production, but his own percentage also feels right given his inconsistent showings.

Maybe the best way to approach Butler is to play matchups with him.

Brandon Williams Fantasy Outlook

Williams was also dropped in 3.1% of leagues, bringing his total to 39%. He's dealing with a back injury.

Williams has not played since March 16, but he has been a good asset of late when healthy. Over the past six appearances, he's scored in double figures every game. He has 113 points, 24 rebounds, 29 assists, 10 steals and one block in that span.

Williams is a pretty good fantasy asset when he's on the court, and I'd be more willing to hang on to him through the injury because of what he's done when playing. If he gets dropped in your league, keep a close eye on his status and add him when he's healthy again.

If you can stash him at the end of your bench and not be hurt too much, then I'd suggest that route.

Kyshawn George Fantasy Outlook

George is down 2.9% and at 52% overall. He missed the last game with a knee injury.

He's scored in double figures in his last two appearances, and in six of his past eight games overall. George has 102 points, 43 rebounds, 21 assists and 11 blocks and assists in that span.

That's plenty of fantasy production, which is why his own percentage is still over 50 despite him missing the last game. Drop him if you need the roster spot, but only make that move in a slightly larger than standard league.

Richaun Holmes Fantasy Outlook

Holmes saw his own percentage drop 2.7%, bringing his total to 14%. He hasn't played in either of the past two games, so his own percentage continues to fall.

He only scored six points in each of his past two appearances, and that makes it a bit easier to drop him now. Holmes is averaging 7.7 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, which gives him a little deeper league value, but unless he's playing, he can't help you.

Don't lose sight of Holmes, but I'd move on until he's back in the rotation.

Trey Murphy III Fantasy Outlook

Murphy is down another 2.7% today. He's out for the season with a shoulder injury.

He can be safely dropped in all redraft formats. Hang on to him in dynasty/keeper leagues.

Ricky Council IV Fantasy Outlook

Council was dropped in 2.4% of leagues and is rostered in 8% overall now. He only scored four points in his last game.

Council came off the bench in that contest. In the three games before that (all starts), he totaled 37 points, 15 rebounds, four blocks, two assists and one steal. He also scored in double figures in the two games before that.

There's enough fantasy value to keep rostering Council in deep leagues, but he'll continue to drop if his numbers don't go back up.

Scoot Henderson Fantasy Outlook

Henderson is down 2.4% as well, bringing his total percentage to 62. He's scored in single digits in two of the past three games.

Henderson also played under 20 minutes in his last outing, so he's being dropped in standard leagues for good reason. He's had really strong stretches this season, so I'd keep him on my watch list, but he looks to be transitioning to just a deep-league option.

Don't waste too much time rostering Henderson if you need fantasy help in standard leagues.

Mike Conley Fantasy Outlook

Conley was dropped in 2.3% of leagues and is now owned in 42% overall. Inconsistent play is probably at the heart of why he's being dropped.

He is coming off a game in which he had 16 points, two rebounds and assists and one steal, so the timing of the drop is interesting. Conley was in single figures in the three games before that.

His name is propping up his fantasy value a bit, but he still has deep-league value. Conley probably should stick around this own percentage going forward.

Al Horford Fantasy Outlook

Horford is another player down 2.3%, bringing his total to 44%. He's struggled to score in his past two games.

He has just 13 points, but 14 rebounds, 11 assists and a block over the past two games combined. The low point totals aren't ideal, but the rebounds and assists help offset the lower point marks.

I'd keep rostering Horford in all deeper leagues, and stream him in standard leagues (just maybe waiting until he gets back on track as a scorer, or has a favorable matchup).

Deandre Ayton Fantasy Outlook

Ayton is the final player down 2.3% today - his own percentage is 65. He is dealing with a calf injury.

He has not played since February 10, so I'm a bit surprised his own percentage is still as high as it is. There's no clear return timetable either.

Ayton has good fantasy value when healthy, but if you need his roster spot to remain competitive, you should move on from him.
