Fantasy Baseball Hitter ADP Update: Gunnar Henderson Falls Outside Top 10; Two Catchers in Top 40, and More

Taking a look at some draft data near the end of March.

After looking at some ADP data for fantasy baseball pitchers on Thursday, let's now look at some ADP data for hitters.

Here's a look at the last update we did on hitter's ADPs.

The Top-End Picks

Two-way Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani still is atop the ADP list, with an average pick mark of 1.24.

New York Yankees' Aaron Judge is second at pick 2.67 on average, while Kansas City's Bobby Witt Jr. is third at 3.35.

New York Mets' Juan Soto is fourth at pick 4.3 on average. Cleveland's Jose Ramirez is fifth, going at pick 5.39 on average.

LA Dodgers' Mookie Betts (6.93) and Chicago Cubs' Kyle Tucker (9.37) also have first-round marks.

Catchers

In the top-150 fantasy picks, there's just seven catchers being drafted.

Milwaukee's William Contreras leads the way, with an average pick mark of 32.67. Baltimore's Adley Rutschman is the closest to him, at pick 39.11

Houston's Yainer Diaz is a distant third at pick 73.41. LA Dodgers' Will Smith is next at pick 74.2.

Kansas City's Salvador Perez (94.17) and Seattle's Cal Raleigh (94.43) are also top-100 picks.

The only other catcher going in the top-150 picks is Washington's Keibert Ruiz at pick 145.68 on average. 

First Basemen

There's 12 first basemen going in the top-150 picks on average.

Toronto's Vladimir Guerrero Jr. leads the way at pick 11.07. LA Dodgers' Freddie Freeman (19.98) and Philadelphia's Bryce Harper (25.89) are other top-30 picks.

Atlanta's Matt Olson is next at pick 39.96. New York Mets' Pete Alonso (50.28), San Diego's Luis Arraez (60.7) and Arizona's Josh Naylor (70.39) are also separated by about 10 picks.

Houston's Christian Walker is going at pick 87.35. Kansas City's Vinnie Pasquantino is at pick 102.58.

St. Louis' Willson Contreras (134.13), Tampa Bay's Yandy Diaz (137.31) and Boston's Triston Casas (147.14) are the other top-150 picks.

Second Basemen

A total of eight fantasy second basemen are going in the top-150 picks right now.

Arizona's Ketel Marte leads the way, going at pick 23.48 on average. 

Texas' Marcus Semien (41.39) and Houston's Jose Altuve (47.15) are the next two fantasy 2B taken. Atlanta's Ozzie Albies (57.85) is the only other top-100 pick on average.

Detroit's Gleyber Torres (119.16), Chicago Cubs' Nico Hoerner (121.09), San Diego's Xander Bogaerts (127.5) and Philadelphia's Bryson Stott (143.03) are the other top-150 picks.

Shortstops

Twelve fantasy shortstops appear in the top-150 picks right now.

After Witt and Betts in the first round, Baltimore's Gunnar Henderson is third at pick 12.22 on average. New York Mets' Francisco Lindor is going at pick 13.91 on average. 

Cincinnati's Elly De La Cruz is next at pick 26.46. Texas' Corey Seager sits at pick 38.37, while Philadelphia's Trea Turner is at pick 42.39.

There's a big gap before San Francisco's Willy Adames (82.93) comes off the board. He's the last fantasy SS in the top 100. Washington's CJ Abrams (101.64) just misses the top 100.

Cincinnati's Matt McLain (140.43), Minnesota's Carlos Correa (145.26) and Colorado's Ezequiel Tovar (145.79) are a quick trio of shortstops taken before we get to pick 150.

Third Basemen

After Ramirez goes early in drafts, there's 12 other fantasy third basemen taken in the top-150 picks.

Boston's Rafael Devers is a distant second, going at pick 27.52 on average. San Diego's Manny Machado appears at pick 33.39.

Atlanta's Austin Riley is next at pick 47.78. Boston's Alex Bregman is at pick 56.

New York Yankees' Jazz Chisholm Jr. (78.28) and St. Louis' Nolan Arenado (98.93) are other top-100 picks.

Philadelphia's Alec Bohm (101) just misses the top 100. Houston's Isaac Paredes (113.33), Tampa Bay's Junior Caminero (117.18), Baltimore's Jordan Westburg (122.64), San Francisco's Matt Chapman (124.48) and New York Mets' Mark Vientos (128.66) all go in the top-130 picks, are are the final members of the top 150.

Outfielders

There are 40 fantasy outfielders being taken in the top-150 picks right now.

After the first-round picks (Judge, Soto, Tucker), Houston's Yordan Alvarez is next at pick 12.2. Arizona's has an average pick mark of 15.11, while San Diego's Fernando Tatis Jr. sits at pick 19.13.

Atlanta's Ronald Acuna Jr. (31.43), Milwaukee's Jackson Chourio (36.59), Seattle's Julio Rodriguez (38.67), San Diego's Jackson Merrill (40.72), Toronto's Anthony Santander (41.74) and Boston's Jarren Duran (43.35) are other top-50 picks.

Cleveland's Steven Kwan (61.18), Texas' Wyatt Langford (72.59), Atlanta's Michael Harris II (83.78), New York Yankees' Cody Bellinger (87.54), Athletics' Brent Rooker (89.33), Pittsburgh's Bryan Reynolds (83.59), LA Dodgers' Teoscar Hernandez (94.54), St. Louis' Brendan Donovan (94.76) and Chicago Cubs' Ian Happ (99.26) are the other top-100 picks.

Los Angeles Angels' Mike Trout (109.07), Pittsburgh's Oneil Cruz (113.39), Milwaukee's Christian Yelich (114), Washington's James Wood (117.3), Chicago Cubs' Seiya Suzuki (117.48), Cincinnati's Spencer Steer (118.41), Atlanta's Jurickson Profar (120.22), New York Mets' Brandon Nimmo (121.5) and Detroit's Riley Greene (125) are going inside the top-125 picks.

Athletics' Lawrence Butler (125.56), San Francisco's Jung Hoo Lee (129.91), Seattle's Randy Arozarena (131.59), Chicago White Soz's Luis Robert Jr. (135.07), Colorado's Brenton Doyle (141), Texas' Adolis Garcia (144.88) and St. Louis' Alec Burleson (147.57) are the other top-150 outfielders.

Designated Hitters

Ohtani is obviously the top designated hitter. 

Philadelphia's Kyle Schwarber (63.7) and Atlanta's Marcell Ozuna (77.74) are the only other hitters listed as designated hitters who appear in the top-150 picks.
