After looking at the top fantasy basketball waiver wire pickups already, it's time to discuss the players who are being dropped.

The drops were pulled from the FantasySP waiver trends most dropped tab, which can be found on any fantasy basketball page on the site.

Use our fantasy basketball trade analyzer and the Trade Value Chart to break down trade scenarios.

Damian Lillard Fantasy Outlook

Lillard is down 9.1% today and is at 90% overall. He's out indefinitely with deep vein thrombosis in his right calf.

There's hope that he'll return during this season, but there's no clearer timetable available at this point. That makes things tough when it comes to deciding how to approach him as a fantasy asset.

In leagues where an IR spot is available, simply put Lillard on IR and hope he comes back later in the season. If you are in a standard league that needs his roster spot to keep winning, then you'll need to make that call.

I personally do not think Lillard will play much more this regular season, so I'd drop him and use that roster spot to stream players in (because you aren't going to be able to replace Lillard's production with a waiver wire guy).

Kai Jones Fantasy Outlook

Jones is down 4.5% today, bringing his total to 39%. He struggled a bit in his last outing, tallying nine points, eight rebounds, two assists and one block and steal across 24 minutes.

He started that game, and has started the team's past four contests. Anthony Davis is back in the mix now, but it appears Jones is going to keep starting.

I think he's still worth a roster spot in most deeper leagues, so I'm not a big fan of dropping him right now. Even if Jones isn't scoring a ton, he can rack up enough rebounds and other numbers to post pretty solid fantasy scores.

Jonas Valanciunas Fantasy Outlook

Valanciunas is also down 4.5%, and he's at 75% overall now. Over his past two games combined, Valanciunas has just six points, five rebounds and two assists across 21 minutes.

With Domantas Sabonis back in the mix, Valanciunas has not only seen his fantasy production drop, but his playing time has evaporated as well.

I don't think Valanciunas is worth holding onto in standard leagues, and believe his own percentage should drop nearly 20 more percent. Only hold Valanciunas in deeper leagues, and if he keeps producing like he has been of late, he might become droppable there too.

Max Christie Fantasy Outlook

Christie is down 4% and sits at 40% overall now. He's tallied just 21 points over the past three games, and only has scored in double figures eight times over the past 16 contests.

In those games, Christie has accumulated 144 points, 68 rebounds, 44 assists, 14 steals and three blocks. There's enough fantasy production there to utilize him in some deeper leagues, but definitely not all of them.

I'd keep rostering him in dynasty/keeper formats, but probably look elsewhere in leagues just larger than standard setups.

Moses Moody Fantasy Outlook

Moody is down 3.7% and is now owned in 33% of leagues. He's scored in double figures just once once over the past five contests.

That one double-digit outing was a 20-point contest, so I'm not ready to write Moody off completely, but he only should be rostered and played in pretty deep fantasy leagues.

Things will probably only get worse for him when Stephen Curry gets back on the court, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope for Moody.

Cason Wallace Fantasy Outlook

Wallace is down 3.6% and sits at 42% overall. He's dealing with a knee injury.

He didn't play in the team's last game, and has missed two contests over the past four games. Wallace isn't worth holding onto in leagues just larger than standard leagues.

Wallace does fill up the stat sheet pretty well most nights, so he's a good deep-league option when available. Keep an eye on his status and react accordingly.

P.J. Washington Fantasy Outlook

Washington is down 3.3% and is owned in 95% of leagues now. He's out with an ankle injury.

He's out for Thursday's game, marking the second straight game Washington will miss. Jones is likely going to benefit a good amount from Washington's absence, which makes it even more puzzling to see Jones as a drop.

Anyways, if Washington is missing games, he can be dropped in standard setups. Throw him on your IR if you can, but otherwise, you could use his roster spot to stream players the rest of your fantasy season.

Cameron Payne Fantasy Outlook

Payne is down 3.2% and is owned in 20% of leagues now. He's got an ankle injury he's working through.

Payne was the biggest waiver wire addition on Wednesday, but got injured in the team's game against the Clippers that night. Payne isn't worth holding onto if he's missing games, so watch the injury report and react accordingly.

Caris LeVert Fantasy Outlook

LeVert is down 3% today, bringing his overall mark down to 60%. He's scored just 12 points over the past two games.

LeVert was already a risky fantasy asset given that he's playing about half of most games. If he's not producing in his time on the court, there's no reason to keep rostering him.

I'd drop him in all standard leagues, and some slightly deeper than standard leagues. There's just not enough production here to keep playing him at such a crucial time of the fantasy season.

Kyle Filipowski Fantasy Outlook

Filipowski is down 2.5% today, bringing his overall mark down to 55%. He has been pretty inconsistent of late.

Filipowski has scored in double figures in five of the past seven games, but scored just 12 combined points in the two games in single digits. He has just two games with double-digit rebounds in that span, and doesn't have over five boards in any of the other games.

He's a better fantasy asset when Walker Kessler is out of the lineup. I still like the idea of utilizing Filipowski in some deeper leagues, but he's replaceable in leagues slightly deeper than standard leagues.

Aaron Wiggins Fantasy Outlook

Wiggins is down 2.3% today and is owned in 44% of leagues. He has an Achilles injury he's working through.

He'll miss his second straight contest on Thursday, and he's not valuable enough to keep rostering if he isn't playing. It's bad timing with his injury because he's scored in double figures in three straight - he's had 19 and 26 points in two of those contests.

Drop him in deeper leagues if you need that roster spot right now. Keep a close eye on him and re-add him when he's active again, at least until his scoring drops off.

Trey Lyles Fantasy Outlook

Lyles is down 2.2% today, bringing his total mark to 8%. He scored no points and grabbed four rebounds in just eight minutes on March 24, then didn't play on March 25.

There's no point to keep rostering Lyles if the Kings are healthy, and especially if Lyles isn't playing. Drop him for someone else.

Klay Thompson Fantasy Outlook

Thompson is down 2%, bringing his total to 88%. He's got just 14 points over the past two games.

He had been in a pretty good scoring groove before that, tallying 20 or more points in five of the previous eight contests. Until he heats back up, Thompson will see his own percentage keep dropping.

I'd maybe play matchups with Thompson, utilizing him against teams that struggle to defend the 3-point line.

Keldon Johnson Fantasy Outlook

Johnson is down 2% as well - he's at 59% overall. He's scored 11 or fewer points in four of the past five contests.

Johnson has accumulated 52 points, 26 rebounds, 12 assists and five steals and blocks over that span. That's enough fantasy production for deeper leagues, but not standard ones.

Drop Johnson in standard leagues until he heats back up, but keep rostering him in deeper setups.
