Yankees 20, Brewers 9
Max Fried started for New York, but left before reaching five innings, so he didn't get the win. He allowed six runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks. Fried struck out four.
Yoendrys Gomez got the win after getting the next four outs.
Nestor Cortes was rocked for eight runs in two-plus innings in his first start against his former team. He allowed six hits and five walks, while striking out two. Cortes surrendered five home runs.

Jake Irvin started for Washington, giving up just two runs on seven hits and two walks over five frames. He struck out two.
Colin Poche pitched next and took the loss after allowing three runs while getting just one out.

Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on five hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out one.
