Top Waiver Wire Pickups
Matas Buzelis Fantasy Outlook
Chicago's Buzelis starts the week atop the fantasy basketball waiver wire list again. He's up 4.57% and sitting at 63.69% overall.
He's scored between 9-14 points over the past four contests. Buzelis has racked up 45 points, 26 rebounds, nine blocks, five steals and three assists over that span of games.
He has four games on tap this week, which is tied for the most available this week. I still like Buzelis more as a deep-league option, but wouldn't mind utilizing the rookie in some standard leagues for the final couple games if needed.
Bub Carrington Fantasy Outlook
Washington's Carrington was added in 4.45% of leagues, bringing his total mark to 54.14%.
He's scored between 14-32 points over the past three games, and has scored at least eight points in eight straight contests. Carrington has 120 points, 49 assists, 45 rebounds, five steals and two blocks over those eight games.
Carrington also has four games ahead of him this week, which is a positive. While I think Buzelis is the more consistent fantasy option, I see more upside with Carrington this week. I'd call him a must-add in leagues even slightly larger than standard leagues.
He'd be a fine streaming option for the week in standard leagues, in my eyes. Carrington's matchups are solid, and based on his higher potential, I think he could really be an asset in the final week of play.
Ja'Kobe Walter Fantasy Outlook
Walter got a 4.1% bump today, bringing his total mark to 25.48%.
Over his past seven games, Walter has scored at least eight points in each contest. He has racked up 95 points, 31 rebounds, 21 assists, 12 steals and two blocks over those games.
I think Walter is deserving of a roster/starting spot in some deeper leagues, but he's also only got three games scheduled this week, so others might be better options. Still, I think Walter is worth at least streaming in deeper leagues for all three of his games.
Harrison Barnes Fantasy Outlook
San Antonio's Barnes is the only other waiver option with a 3% bump or more. He's up 3.04% and is rostered in 41.4% of leagues overall.
Barnes has between 17-24 points over the past four contests, with at least 20 points in three of those contests. He also has 16 rebounds, five assists and four steals over those games.
Barnes doesn't fill the stat sheet too well, but on scoring alone lately, he's a good fantasy asset. I like the idea of adding him in most deeper fantasy leagues for the final week.
He's got four games scheduled this week, and he might even be worth streaming in standard leagues in a pinch. It all depends on who else is available, but that final game against Toronto looks like a perfect time to stream him, in my eyes.

Toronto's Jamal Shead was picked up in 2.19% of leagues and is now at 23.57% overall. Houston's Dillon Brooks was added in 1.93% of leagues and he's now rostered in 53.5% of leagues.
San Antonio's Chris Paul (up 1.79%, 92.36% overall), Keldon Johnson (up 1.43%, 63.69% overall) and De'Aaron Fox (up 1.3%, 52.87% overall) are also on the waiver wire list.
Detroit's Malik Beasley (up 1.61%, 77.71% overall) and Isaiah Stewart (up 1.52%, 21.02% overall) are both on the waiver list. Brooklyn's Cam Thomas was added in 1.53% of leagues, bringing his total to 47.44%.
Miami's Davion Mitchell is up 1.23% and is now at 47.77% overall. Philly's Joel Embiid (up 1.22%, 47.13% overall) and Jared Butler (up 1.18%, 43.95% overall) round out the 25-player list.
Weekly Projections/More Waiver Targets
Looking at only the top-100 projected fantasy basketball players for the coming week, there's a few more waiver wire targets maybe worth adding.
Detroit's Ausar Thompson is rostered in 83% of leagues, but is projected to finish inside the top-100 players, and has four games this week.
Miami's Andrew Wiggins is owned in 83% of leagues too. He has four games this coming week.
Utah's Collin Sexton is also inside the top 100. He's rostered in 85% of leagues, but also only has three games ahead.
Golden State's Podziemski makes this list too. He has four games he could play in this coming week.
Dallas' Spencer Dinwiddie is rostered in 77% of leagues right now. He only has three games scheduled this week though.
Washington's Carrington is also in the top 100, another reason why I wouldn't mind adding/streaming him this coming week.
New Orleans' Missi also appears in the top 100. He's owned in 59% of fantasy leagues right now and has four games.
Detroit's Dennis Schroder is rostered in 73% of leagues right now. He could play up to four games as well this week.
Brooklyn's Nicolas Claxton checks in just below 90% owned, so I'm going to mention him too. He could play in four games this week.
Washington's Alexandre Sarr is owned in 84% of leagues right now and has four games ahead of him still.
Milwaukee's Bobby Portis is eligible to return from his suspension on Monday, and he's going completely overlooked. He's only rostered in 36% of leagues, and is an option for deep and standard leagues for the final week. He could play up to four games this week.
Portland's Clingan also appears in the top-100 projected players. He's rostered in 62% of leagues, but only has three games.
Utah's Collier is also a highly projected player for the week. He's rostered in 57% of leagues, but only has three games ahead too.
Memphis' Zach Edey is owned in 68% of leagues right now and could play up to four games this coming week.
Houston's Jabari Smith Jr. is owned in 72% of leagues. He has only three games this week though.
Utah's Keyonte George is rostered in 72% of leagues as well. He too has three games scheduled.
