Deep Fantasy Football Sleepers For Late Drafts: Sean Tucker, Kenneth Gainwell, Marvin Mims
If you are still drafting a fantasy football league over the next few days, there are a few players that I am recommending you take very late that might help you separate from your competition:
Sync your league with the Fantasy Assistant to get rankings, waiver help, trade suggestions, optimal lineups, and more. Not sure Who You Should Start? We can help. Utilize our fantasy football trade analyzer for trades.
Deep Fantasy Football Running Back Sleepers
Sean Tucker, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tucker has been named the backup to Rachaad White. He was an outstanding running back at Syracuse but something happened in draft preparation that led him to be undrafted. If anybody is going to pull a James Robinson this season, he's the guy.
Kenneth Gainwell, Philadelphia Eagles
Reports out of Philadelphia state that Gainwell should be seeing more playing time this year than ever before. I think that he might be the Eagles ' running back in two-minute situations.
Deuce Vaughn, Dallas Cowboys
Vaughn is very reminiscent of Darren Sproles in terms of size, speed, and difficulty to locate in the backfield. Dallas has room for him to get a few opportunities a game, especially because Tony Pollard is not built to withstand 25 touches.
Jerome Ford, Cleveland Browns
A lot of people may have forgotten about Ford considering he missed plenty of time in the preseason with an injury, but he's back now and he is without question the backup to Nick Chubb.
Deep Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Sleepers
Marvin Mims, Denver Broncos
With Jerry Jeudy expected to be out for a few weeks, Mims is going to step into the starting lineup and I think he is going to be successful from the get-go. The team invested a high draft pick in him, and he's able to separate at the line of scrimmage which should be a boon to his stats.
Trey Palmer, Cincinnati Bengals
Not only is Palmer a speedster but he's shown a propensity to make big catches in pressure situations in college. With Mike Evans unlikely to sign a big deal in Tampa, Palmer may be the biggest beneficiary for 2024 and beyond.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
I just don't see Cooper Kupp returning any time in the next few weeks, which should leave Nacua with a prime opportunity to get some run with the starting offense. He was a very underrated receiver at BYU and I think that he will fit in nicely in the Rams’ offense.
Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers
Romeo Doubs is dealing with an injury and there is a small chance that he may miss Week 1's action. If that's the case, then Reed should see even more targets and become a viable option.
Deep Fantasy Football Tight End Sleepers
Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Otton is a humongous target who happens to have soft hands and I think Baker Mayfield will enjoy throwing to him. His upside is about 50 catches and five touchdowns this season.
Luke Musgrave, Green Bay Packers
Musgrave has had numerous injury issues in college, but right now he seems to be past most of them. The Packers really love his upside and see him as their tight end for the next decade.
Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals
Zach Ertz will miss Week 1 and McBride is a very talented young receiver who has excellent hands. I think he should end up getting about 70% of the snaps against Washington.
