Allen really struggled against the Jets' defense on Monday night throwing three interceptions and just looking off in general. The Raiders defense played exceptionally well against the Broncos but Russell Wilson is not nearly the quarterback that Josh Allen is. I think this game opens up in the second half and is higher scoring than people expect. There should be no reason that Allen can't throw a couple of touchdowns at home with at least one going to Stefon Diggs.
D.J. Moore, Chicago Bears | OVER 43.5 receiving yards (projection on FantasySP is 56.1)
It was a little disappointing to see Moore have such a bad game last week against the Packers but I think that we can chalk that up slightly to Packers CB Jaire Alexander being one of the top cover guys in the league. Moore is the best receiver the Bears have and there's even a rumor that Chase Claypool will be inactive for the game. I think Fields uses Moore more often against the Cover 2 defense and Moore might be able to bust this prop by halftime.
James Cook, Buffalo Bills | OVER 47.5 rushing yards (projection on FantasySP is 59.4)
One of the bright spots for the Bills last week was the exceptional running of James Cook. He didn't have a huge game but you can stock that up to the fact that the Jets have one of the top defenses in the league. Cook still had plenty more opportunities than he got last season and he's got such tremendous speed that all he needs is to break off one big play and all of a sudden this prop is looking like it's extremely beatable. I might argue that he has this number by the end of the third quarter if he can just break off one big play.
Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers | OVER 50.5 receiving yards (projection on FantasySP is 62.4)
I was impressed with how the Buccaneers came back in the second half last week against the Vikings after looking like they were going to be demolished early on in the game. Baker Mayfield is not going to throw the ball more than about 30 to 32 times a game but I think he will take a couple of big shots with Evans and that might be what we need here for this prop to come through.
Christian Kirk, Jacksonville Jaguars | OVER 37.5 receiving yards (projection on FantasySP 53.5)
Sometimes you need to think of the NFL like a pendulum. Things swing one way one week and then swing another way the following week. Kirk barely saw any targets against the Colts, but that doesn’t mean that will be the same against the Chiefs. In fact, I think the Chiefs are soft against slot WRs and Kirk might be the perfect person to take advantage. Let everyone else think Zay Jones is a good bet, I am happy to take the over on Kirk.
