Best NFL DFS Plays Week 6: Is Cooper Kupp A Must-Have Player?
Best DFS Quarterback Plays Week 6
Justin Fields, Bears
Most of the top QBs (Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, Lamar Jackson) aren’t playing on the main slate this week. Fields is the most capable QB of having the ceiling game that takes down a GPP.
Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars
Something clicked with Lawrence against Buffalo as he looked more confident in the pocket. Indianapolis doesn’t travel well, and Calvin Ridley shredded them earlier this season. This could be a great spot for another 250 yards and two TDs for T-Law.
Matthew Stafford, Rams
Stafford has played well without Cooper Kupp, but now that Kupp is back, he should be able to take his game (and the Rams’ offense) to another level. He’s only had five passing TDs this season, but against a weak Cardinals secondary, he should be able to add to those stats.
Gardner Minshew, Colts
Minshew is only $5000 on DK and is in a game where the Colts should be playing from behind. I can see him easily being 3x, and if the game explodes, he could be 4x or higher.

Best DFS Running Back Plays Week 6
Kenneth Walker, Seahawks
Cincinnati has given up 5.01 yards per carry thus far, which should be music to Pete Carroll’s ears. Assuming Walker gets 20 carries, he should be in a great spot to get 100 rushing yards (and the bonus on DK) plus a TD.
Alvin Kamara, Saints
Kamara has come off suspension and been a bellcow RB for the Saints. He’s a great runner and receiver and a stud by the goal line. He should be good for 20+ fantasy points, as the Texans' run defense has been a sieve.
Raheem Mostert, Dolphins
Remember what David Montgomery did against the worst run defense in the league in Week 5? I think Mostert should do as well (if not better) in Week 6 against the same team.
D’Andre Swift, Eagles
The Jets have let up the second-most receptions to opposing running backs this season. Swift has been a huge part of the Eagles' success thus far, and with the Jets secondary concentrating on A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, it seems likely that Swift is in line for another big game.
Best DFS Wide Receiver Plays Week 6
Cooper Kupp, Rams
Kupp feels like this week's version of Week 5 Ja’Marr Chase. He's going to be the guy that you must have if you want to win a tournament. He looked terrific in his first game back against the Eagles, and I think he has a two-touchdown game against the Cardinals.
D.J. Moore, Bears
Moore has shown that he's got an incredibly high ceiling playing with Justin Fields. He's able to watch Fields’ eyes and take advantage of his great route-running ability to get open downfield. The Vikings have struggled all season in pass defense, and that should continue this week against the Bears.
Jakobi Meyers, Raiders
You know I love a good revenge narrative, and Meyers is very upset at how the Patriots treated him and I think he's going to do everything he possibly can to have one of his best games. I look for him to have about 80 yards with a great chance of a touchdown.
Josh Downs, Colts
The last time Minshew started, Downs had his best game of the season. Downs has that ability to find the crevices in the defense that might make him a future PPR star. I like him to get about 13 or 14 points in a game where the Colts should be playing from behind.
Best DFS Tight End Plays Week 6
T.J. Hockenson, Vikings
The Bears have really struggled against opposing tight ends, allowing them to catch 85% of the passes thrown to them. The Vikings are starting off the season horribly, and losing Justin Jefferson last week makes it go from bad to worse. They're going to need someone to pick up the slack, and Hockenson should be that person.
Logan Thomas, Commanders
Thomas has had 14 targets in the past two weeks, and the Falcons have let us 15 receptions to opposing tight ends in the past two games. Put these two things together, and you have a must-play at a cheap price ($3,500 on DraftKings).
Cade Otton, Buccaneers
Mike Evans could be used as a decoy, which would leave Otton open in the middle of the field to make a few plays against a Lions defense that has been exceptionally bad against opposing tight ends.
Foster Moreau, Saints
Need a salary saver? Look no further than Moreau. Kyle Pitts and Jonnu Smith torched the Texans secondary in Week 5. For $2,700 on DraftKings, Moreau could go 3/30/1, going 4x and allowing you to get another ceiling WR into your lineup.
