Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl Player Props: Patrick Mahomes, Isiah Pacheco, Rashee Rice and More
These are the top prop bets you can make on the Kansas City Chiefs to win yourself some money.
Fantasy football season may be over for most of us, but we can still watch our favorite players, gamble and make prop bets. Here we will go over the best prop bets and game lines for the Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. We will be focusing on just the AFC representatives in this article.
Game Line Picks
This game has a ton of intriguing storylines and matchups. On one hand, you have the 49ers, who steamrolled through the NFC all season on their way to the big game. On the other hand, you have the Chiefs, who struggled on offense throughout the year and looked subpar for a good portion of the season, yet they are still right back in the Super Bowl to defend their crown.
It's incredible that we are in a situation where the best player in the world is in the Super Bowl as a defending champion and they are considered the underdog, but that's where we're at. The 49ers enter the Super Bowl as the favorites over the Chiefs. We are going to let you know if they should be and who you should bet on.
Spread: Kansas City Chiefs +2 (-118)
This line has dropped down from the Chiefs getting +4 so most of the money has been going on Kansas City and rightfully so. That's still where our money is going.
Over/Under: Under 47.5 (-108)
We think the under hits in this game which should be a low-scoring affair. The Chiefs have a top-two defense in the league while the Niners' defense is very good in its own right. The Kansas City offense hasn't been close to what it once was and they win most of their games this season in defensive struggles. We aren't saying it will be that low scoring, but less than 48 points is realistic.
Moneyline: Kansas City Chiefs (+102)
Not only do the Chiefs give you better odds if you bet them, but, we expect them to win this game outright. At the end of the day, the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes and the Niners have Brock Purdy. That's why the Chiefs will win this game. Same thing we said throughout the playoffs against even better QBs and potentially better teams.
Super Bowl Top Props
Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes, Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-160)
Mahomes is the best quarterback in the league and will in all likelihood be named the MVP of this game after the Chiefs win. It stands to reason that if the Chiefs are going to win, he's going to have a pretty good game. Kansas City also loves passing the ball when they are down near the end zone, even if those passes are simple shovel passes. They still count as passes. It would be shocking if Mahomes doesn't throw at least two TD passes in this game and it will probably be more than that. However, all we need is two to win this bet and he's going to get the job done for us.
Isiah Pacheco, Over 67.5 Rushing Yards (-120)
We don't expect Pacheco to have a huge day against the 49ers' defense, nevertheless, we do think he will rush for 68 yards. This is a number he's failed to hit only once in his last six games and his touches have been consistently climbing as we've gotten deeper into the season and into the playoffs. Twice in three playoff games, he has carried the ball 24 times, a mark he never hit during the regular season. The team clearly wants to feed him early and often on this run and that will continue in the Super Bowl. We'd be shocked if he saw less than 15 carries and that is more than enough to clear this line.
Rashee Rice, Over 66.5 Receiving Yards (-130)
Rice has become the Chiefs' top wide receiver and he will shine in this game. This will be his coming out party for the more casual NFL fans. The 49ers' defense is too good to be beaten by just Travis Kelce, that's why Rice is going to have himself a solid day. We expect him to top 80 yards and a TD in this game, so 66.5 yards should be easy money. This is a bet we are definitely taking. He is the one silver lining in an otherwise terrible WRs corps for Kansas City.
Travis Kelce, Over 6.5 Receptions (-160)
This is another easy bet for us. Kelce is Mahomes go-to guy and he's going to see plenty of underneath targets when Mahomes needs to move the chains or get rid of the ball. In three playoff games this season, he's caught 23 of 27 targets. The Niners haven't been great against tight ends this season and Kelce is going to take full advantage. The biggest stars shine brightest in the biggest moments and that's exactly what the Chiefs' top weapon is going to do on the biggest stage with all eyes on him.
