It's going to be hard for Thursday Night Football to live up to what it gave us last week, but this game has all the makings of another potential classic.

Last week's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals was a gambler's and fantasy owner's dream. We hit on every one of our best bets and top props in that one, while multiple players posted historic performances.

This week, we have a battle for NFC East supremacy when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Washington Commanders. Philly has been reigning at or near the top of the East for years, but the young upstart Commanders, led by rookie sensation Jayden Daniels, have something to say about that this year.

NFL Best Bets Week 11

This is a matchup that can go either way as far as being a tough defensive battle or a high-scoring shootout. Both teams have explosive offenses led by dynamic young quarterbacks and big-time playmakers, but they also have sneaky good defenses as well.

This won't be a game like last week where both defenses look lost and the offense can do whatever they want whenever they want. Both defenses will put up a fight despite the firepower that they'll be up against.

The Commanders have Daniels leading the way with Terry McLaurin as his primary pass catcher. They also get their stud running back Brian Robinson Jr. back from a multi-week hamstring injury in this one, who will once again be paired with veteran Austin Ekeler. There is no shortage of budding star power in DC for gamblers and fantasy owners alike to focus on in this one.

Jalen Hurts has continued his stellar play in 2024 and continues to solidify himself as a bonafide star in this league, and one of the best fantasy options in the NFL. His supporting cast is even more loaded with star power all over the field.

At wide receiver, the dynamic duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith continue to be among the elite wide receiver pairings in the league while the addition of Saquon Barkley adds a whole new element to this offense that they've never had before, even at their peak. Don't underestimate how much a healthy Dallas Goedert means to this offense either. All of these pieces combined cause matchup nightmares for their opponents.

It will be intriguing to see how these defenses match up against these offenses. Nothing would surprise us in this one. However, we do expect a great game with plenty of standout performances on both sides of the ball.

We would give the Eagles the edge on both offense and defense, but that doesn't mean Daniels can't have one of those magical moments and will his team to victory. We've already seen so many of those moments from him in his young career. There's no way we're counting anybody out in this rivalry game.

The Picks

Spread: Washington Commanders +3.5 (-110)
Over/Under: Over 48.5 (-110)
Moneyline: Philadelphia Eagles (-185)

Player Props of the Night

Prop #1: Jalen Hurts, Anytime TD Scorer (-115)

Hurts has become almost unstoppable on the ground when it comes to finding his way into the end zone. He's scored 10 rushing TDs in just nine games so far this season and he's had multiple TDs in three of his last four outings. A rushing TD has become commonplace for him and this game will be no exception.

Prop #2: A.J. Brown, Over 82.5 Receiving Yards (-115)

Brown's receiving yard line is set at a mark that he has topped in all but one game this season, which somewhat shockingly came against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He is averaging over 92 receiving yards per game this season, while topping 100 yards in three of those six games. The Eagles have also won every game that he has played in. The Washington defense is vastly improved this year, but they don't have anyone who can match up with Brown on the outside.

Prop #3: Brian Robinson Jr., Under 55.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-115)

Robinson returns against a very strong rush defense and is fresh off of a significant hamstring injury. We expect his volume to be at least somewhat limited, which doesn't bode well for his production against such a tough matchup. Austin Ekeler will continue to see more volume than he usually would if Robinson was fully healthy with no concerns. This may be a tough bar for him to clear in his first game back.
