Final Fantasy Football Injury Report for Week 16: Aidan O'Connell, Alvin Kamara, Marquise Brown, David Njoku and More
These are all the injuries you need to know about heading into the weekend.
Quarterbacks
Aidan O'Connell, Las Vegas Raiders (Knee)
O'Connell was back at practice this week and is fully expected to be the starter this week. He's not great, but he's a significant upgrade from anyone else they currently have available.
Running Backs
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints (Groin)
It's looking very unlikely that Kamara will be able to suit up for Monday Night Football this week. Because the Saints play on Monday, he hasn't been ruled out yet, but in an ideal world, he would be ruled on Saturday so there is no temptation to wait for him on Monday. If he does end up being a game-time decision, you cannot leave him in your lineup unless you also roster Kendre Miller, who projects to be the bell-cow back this week with Kamara injured.
Isaac Guerendo, San Francisco 49ers (Hamstring)
Guerendo is considered doubtful for Week 16 with a hamstring injury. He follows the trend of 49ers running backs being oft-injured. Patrick Taylor is expected to be the lead back, although, we can't be sure how large of a workload he'll see. There is a chance that they surprise and roll with a different running back, but it would definitely be a surprise. Israel Abanikanda and Ke'Shawn Vaughn are the other backs who could see work.
Tony Pollard, Tennessee Titans (Ankle)
Pollard looks like he's on the wrong side of questionable for Week 16, but he still has a shot to play. If he is sidelined, Tajae Spears would be in line for a hefty workload and is coming off a game in which he performed very well after Pollard was forced from the game late.
Tyrone Tracy, New York Giants (Ankle)
Tracy is shaping up to be a game-time decision for Week 16. Devin Singletary has been cutting into his workload so he'd be a scary start even if he does play considering he's clearly less than 100%.
Wide Receivers
A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles (Knee)
While Brown is officially considered questionable for Week 16, he's been emphatic in saying that he'll be playing.
George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers (Hamstring)
Pickens has once again been ruled out for Week 16 and will not play Saturday in the team's AFC North showdown against the Ravens. His absence has killed their entire offense.
Drake London, Atlanta Falcons (Knee)
Despite being added to the injury report on Friday with a knee issue, London is fully expected to play in Week 16. This is kind of a weird situation so you might want to keep it in the back of your mind just in case.
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins (Knee)
Waddle is listed as doubtful for Week 16 after suffering a knee injury last week. He's not going to play, which opens the door for Malik Washington to see more targets and perhaps serve as a sneaky DFS dart throw.
Marquise Brown, Kansas City Chiefs
Brown is expected to make his season and Kansas City Chiefs debut on Saturday.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints (Concussion)
Olave has returned to practice but still seems unlikely to suit up for Monday Night Football. Even if he did, you can't just plug him in after this extensive layoff with Spencer Rattler under center.
Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers (Groin)
The rookie has been ruled out for Week 16 with a groin issue. He has been dealing with a number of injuries for months now and the team could consider just shutting him down sooner rather than later.
Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns (Concussion)
Tillman still hasn't cleared the league's concussion protocol and would have to in order to get back on the field. Even if cleared, he'd be a scary start with Dorian Thompson-Robinson starting at quarterback.
Rashod Bateman, Baltimore Ravens (Foot)
Bateman appeared to avoid a serious foot injury, however, his status for Saturday is still very much in question. With Nelson Agholor already ruled out, the Ravens could really use him against a tough Steelers defense.
Tight Ends
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns (Hamstring)
Njoku is shaping up to be a very questionable game-time decision for Week 16. You should have a backup plan if you're hoping to start him.
Cade Otton, Tamps Bay Buccaneers (Knee)
Otton is considered questionable for Week 16. We expect him to play, but there is a chance that he doesn't.
Zach Ertz, Washington Commanders (Concussion)
Ertz suffered a concussion in Week 15, but still hasn't been ruled out for Week 16 and has a shot to play.
