Feel awful for Mark Andrews.
@MySportsUpdate: Mark Andrews with a game to forget.

Zay Flowers officially inactive today: pic.x.com/kzkOoXdVUF

Bills HC Sean McDermott on defense slowing down Derrick Henry: “Our guys heard it all week long. We're not big enough. We're not fast enough. We're not strong enough. We're not talented enough.” pic.x.com/jwdGQ96TZ7

Roquan Smith on Jackson: “I'm always riding with 8. We just didn't play well enough as a team.”

Ravens settle for a Justin Tucker 26-yard FG and cut the Bills lead to 14-10 at the 3:43 mark of the second quarter, but they won't be happy with that after having a first-and-goal from the 2-yard line following the Jackson 42-yard completion to Bateman.

They just pulled Ar'Darius Washington off the field and he went to the blue medical tent. Looks like Stephens back at safety in his place.

Ravens WR Zay Flowers, who was doubtful for the game with a knee sprain, is indeed OUT. Also inactive for Ravens: RB Rasheen Ali, C Nick Samac, OLB Adisa Isaac, DT Josh Tupou, S Marcus Williams, S Beau Brade.

Charlie Kolar just came sprinting out of the locker room.

That's a DPI call on Ravens CB Tre'Davious White and Bills have a first-and-goal.

Lamar Jackson hits Isaiah Likely for a 24-yard touchdown and Ravens need two to tie.

Keaton Mitchell and Steven Sims back deep for Baltimore.

Outsmarting themselves again. No designed runs for Lamar. One total rush. Lose yards snapping into gun. Henry is tiptoing into stuff and looks off and throwing to him over Justice Hill is kinda silly.

Nate Wiggins blitzed only one time during the regular season.
He now has 2 pressures across 2 blitzes this season.

On most teams, Osa Odighizuwa would’ve already been extended. For the Dallas Cowboys, cap space is king, and their former third-round pick might be too costly for them to bring back. Last offseason, Nnamdi Madubuike received a contract worth nearly $25 million a season. Odighizuwa is the top defensive tackle scheduled to hit the market, and it’s expected he will receive a contract along those same lines.
Dallas already has the claim to paying both the highest QB salary, as well as , with Micah Parsons likely to be the highest-paid non-QB when he signs his deal. The Cowboys must be sure they are getting what they pay for when they sign any other player to a top-end contract

The Ravens (12-5) are in Buffalo set to face the Bills (13-4) in a must-watch AFC divisional round matchup.
Baltimore released their final injury report; Zay Flowers is doubtful, Deonte Harty is questionable, Ray Davis is questionable for Buffalo, and ten other Bills have no injury designation.
We’re looking at the Ravens’ 53-man roster for the divisional round, with kickoff quickly approaching.

In the surest sign yet that Zay Flowers (knee injury) probably won’t play on Sunday night, the Baltimore Ravens have now elevated wide receiver Anthony Miller from the practice squad.
He’ll be active for the AFC Divisional playoff game at the Buffalo Bills, joining the likes of Rashod Bateman, Nelson Agholor, Tylan Wallace, Devontez Walker, and Steven Sims in the Ravens receiving corps.
Miller had three catches for 12 yards in the Wild Card round win over the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend. While that may not sound like a massive impact, it was still more than his contributions during the regular season

Baltimore Ravens outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy led the team in total sacks with 12.5 in 2024. Soft-spoken, Van Noy has thrived as a game-wrecking force for defensive coordinator Zach Orr, who will be looking to contain Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen this Sunday.
You know it’s game time pic.twitter.com/OBvkf66eBD
With teammate Nnamdi Madubuike on the inside and Odafe Oweh on the opposite, Orr uses a swarm attack to contain opposing quarterbacks and keep them inside the numbers. The Bills’ O-line protected Josh Allen exceptionally in the AFC wildcard game, but he still was sacked twice—a key point to remember versus the novice Broncos opponent

He's played 11 years now. Here's DaQuan Jones on what makes this #Bills team different. “The first thing that pops to my mind is having just a group of mutts. Mixed dog breeds out here. All forming together and bonding and working off each other and I think that's what works. We gel really well together on offense and defense. I hang out with Sam Martin so much and hang out with offensive guys. Vice versa. We're a very tight-knit group. And it's not just two guys doing it or one guy doing it or the offense staying with the offense. We all intermingle. This is probably the only team I've been on where every teammate event or teammate function or a Halloween party, a Christmas party, where everyone shows up. I think that matters goes a long way.”

Former Panthers CB Rasul Douglas with the onsides kick recovery, and Carolina North is moving on.

Bills inactives vs. Ravens: QB Mike White (3rd QB) WR Jalen Virgil OL Ryan Van Demark OL Sedrick Van Pran-Granger DT DeWayne Carter CB Kaiir Elam KR/PR Brandon Codrington

15. Probably not as much. I think Taron Johnson is an extremely talented run defender with great instincts. He also upends some of his size concerns with how well he tackles. Heavy personnel is one thing and an obvious sub situation, but otherwise, keep your best on the field.
@ryeguy427: @JoeBuscaglia Almost every mainstream sports analysts says The Bills need to get out of playing so much Nickel and get more 3 Linebackers on the field. Are you in that camp?

I cannot believe Von Miller didn't get stripped there.

2. He's a variable, and the Bills likely want to control their variables in a game like this. Rookie in the playoffs. Winter conditions. He also doesn't have another game day function.
Khalil Shakir was really good returning punts last week & they trust him. Logical call.
@Shox2cards: @JoeBuscaglia Is there any particular reason why Codrington is out?

Bills S Taylor Rapp is being carted to the locker room after time in medical tent. He has a hip injury. Rookie Cole Bishop in at safety for Rapp.

7. Unsung hero could wind up being O'Cyrus Torrence. The second-year RG didn't have his best game against the Ravens in Week 4, but he has had a great last month or so. Looks like he's turned a bit of a corner. So if they win, I'll say he's an important one.
And thanks!
@Jernab3: @JoeBuscaglia You do a great job Joe! Your unsung hero today?

12. Despite what I just wrote for question No. 10, I'll go with the combo of Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman. They used Coleman to target Stephens last game and I think that could be a focal point again this time around.
@DustinDandurand: @JoeBuscaglia Which wide receiver has the biggest impact on the game?

Ty Johnson sported the throwback Thurman Thomas jersey in the locker room. Asked him about the perception that Baltimore would be the bully tonight. “I don't give a damn about none of that. ... We're playing another week and they're not.”

@awscloud The Bills blitzed Jackson on 15 of 31 dropbacks (48.4%), their 5th-highest blitz rate in a game under Sean McDermott and highest in a game since Week 15, 2021. The Bills generated 9 pressures across 15 blitzes (60.0%), compared to just 4 pressures without blitzing (25.0%). NextGenStats: @awscloud Matt Milano led the Bills pass rush with 4 pressures on 9 pass rushes, including 3 unblocked pressures. Of the 5 career games where Milano has generated at least 4 pressures, 3 have come in the playoffs. Insights Available at NFL Pro: pro.nfl.com

8. Likely wanting experience if a dire backup situation occurred over a rookie (Van Pran-Granger) who doesn't have any experience in a game that means something.
@NoahGould7: @JoeBuscaglia Why is Will Clapp active over the usual offensive linemen?
