That was Jauan Jennings' first time playing the 'X' receiver position (Aiyuk's spot). 7 catches, 93 yards Shanahan: "He'll be doing the rest of the year. He did a hell of a job."

That's Maliek Collins' 4th sack of the season. His career high is 5 and we're not even halfway through 2024. Collins ranks in the top-5 of pass-rush win rate for DTs. The 49ers acquired him for a 7th-round pick. What a steal
Special teams finally makes partial amends for today's disaster... Jacob Cowing 31-yard punt return
Looks like Malik Mustapha will start for the 49ers
49ers are clearly load-managing with CMC. We've seen Jordan Mason and Deebo both come into the RB position much sooner than when CMC was playing in the past
Based on warmups, it appears Malik Mustapha will start at safety alongside Ji'Ayir Brown. Mustapha has been dealing with a calf issue but is playing. Also looks like Renardo Green opposite Deommodore Lenoir at cornerback in base.
The only injury #49ers coach Kyle Shanahan reported out of the game was a toe issue for rookie CB Renardo Green. Green left in the second half and did not return. Obviously, could be more tomorrow but that was all for now.
Warner was on White like a magnet there
@Steph49K: Rachaad White averages 11 yards after catches this season. Fred Warner limits him to just 1 after that one.
#49ers keeping with four safeties active today with Malik Mustapha dealing with calf issue. Mustapha is active but Niners also have Ji'Ayir Brown, George Odum and Tashaun Gipson available.
#49ers inactives: QB Josh Dobbs (third QB) CB Charvarius Ward (personal) WR Chris Conley (hamstring) DT Kevin Givens (groin) TE Brayden Willis OL Ben Bartch
#49ers starting offense: QB Brock Purdy RB Christian McCaffrey WR Ricky Pearsall WR Jauan Jennings WR Deebo Samuel TE George Kittle LT Trent Williams LG Aaron Banks C Jake Brendel RG Dominick Puni RT Colton McKivitz
The San Francisco 49ers got out of Tampa Bay with a 23-20 win over the Buccaneers, and they may have escaped without any major injury issues.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan immediately following Sunday’s game told reporters rookie cornerback Renardo Green left the game with a toe injury. Green didn’t return to the contest. He was replaced by veteran CB Rock Ya-Sin.
Green started outside with veteran CB Charvarius Ward out for personal reasons. The rookie second-round pick put together a good outing before his injury, including a pass breakup on what would’ve been a touchdown for Tampa Bay. It looked like he primarily played outside with CB Deommodore Lenoir playing in the slot. Veteran CB Isaac Yiadom started at the other outside CB spot
#Bucs Pro Bowl LT Tristan Wirfs (Knee) has been downgraded from questionable to out.
#Bucs wide receiver Jalen McMillan is good to go today vs. #49ers, per source. Was questionable with a hamstring.
Nick Bosa said he was trying to avoid a horse caller penalty on the insane Baker Mayfield stiff-arm throw. Just found himself between a rock and a hard place
TE Cade Otton is Tampa Bay's leading available receiver. I'd expect Nick Sorensen's adjustments as this game progresses to shade in that direction
Bucky Irving gives the Bucs their first lead of the day on a 12-yard run, marking the fourth rushing touchdown of his rookie campaign.
Rachaad White's nine-yard touchdown catch ties the game at 10-10. It's the ninth scoring grab of his career, tying James Wilder and Warrick Dunn for the second most in franchise history by a running back. Mike Alstott had 13.
Todd Bowles says rookie safety Tykee Smith hit his knee on a teammate's knee in practice on Friday. The team thought he would be fine by Friday but it swelled up and he couldn't go.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to freefall after starting the season with a promising 4-2 record. However, they have lost four straight and are now sitting at 4-6. They are now just one game ahead of both the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers in the division.
The only benefit is they are trending towards a much-needed high draft pick.
The Bucs’ secondary and defense continue to be a letdown. Todd Bowles has no answers for opposing offenses, and as a result, the team looks lost. On offense, Liam Coen and Baker Mayfield finally showed this week that they were missing Mike Evans and Chris Godwin
