The Cleveland Browns have the chance to designate linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah for return from Injured Reserve as they get set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, head coach Kevin Stefanski has stated that Owusu-Koramoah will not play against the Steelers on Sunday. The Browns have not designated their star linebacker for return either, which casts doubt on whether or not he will play again in 2024.
By designating Owusu-Koramoah for return, the Browns would open a 21-day window to put him back on the 53-man roster. By refraining from designating the linebacker for return, the Browns are saying they do not think he is three weeks out with just five weeks to go in the season
The Cleveland Browns have re-signed quarterback Bailey Zappe after cutting him on Monday night.
The release of Zappe, who has been their emergency third quarterback since the injury to Deshaun Watson, cleared room for the Browns to sign defensive tackle Jowon Briggs to the active roster. The Browns now bring Zappe back but have not announced any subsequent roster move as of yet.
A former fourth round pick of the New England Patriots, Zappe has bounced around a bit since being waived this summer. He was then signed to the practice squad of the Kansas City Chiefs before the Browns signed him to their active roster off of their practice squad after the injury to Watson

It was another exciting primetime game for the Cleveland Browns that resulted in a 41-32 defeat against the Denver Broncos on Monday Night Football.
The Cleveland Browns offense was firing on all cylinders when it came to the arm of quarterback Jameis Winston. He managed to set a career-high in single-game passing yards with 497, also setting a Browns franchise record. Browns’ top wide receiver Jerry Jeudy participated in this electric passing attack. The Browns new star managed to collect a whopping 237 receiving yards and set multiple records for himself and around the league. Despite these incredible efforts, the turnovers were not enough to overcome on the scoresheet. Winston provided some very sharp passes followed by some costly ones, a consistent performance he is often known for
