White Sox 2, Royals 1 (Game 1)

Erick Fedde earned his first win of the season after pitching 5 2/3 scoreless innings for Chicago. He struck out five while allowing three hits and three walks. He’s got a 3.10 earned run average this season.

Deivi Garcia tossed two scoreless innings to earn his first save of the season.

Michael Wacha took the tough loss, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six frames. Wacha, who fell to 1-2, struck out four batters.

Royals 4, White Sox 2 (Game 2)

Brady Singer turned in a solid start for KC in the second game of the doubleheader, but didn’t get the win. He allowed two runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out five over five innings. Singer has a 1.54 ERA this season.

Nick Anderson earned the win out of the bullpen, while James McArthur picked up his fourth save after pitching the ninth.

Jonathan Cannon started for Chicago, allowing a run on three hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out three. Michael Kopech was charged with a blown save and his second loss after allowing two runs in an inning.

Giants 3, Marlins 1

Keaton Winn got his first win after pitching six innings and striking out four. He allowed a run on four hits and one walk.

Camilo Doval earned his third save after working a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

Trevor Rogers started for Miami, allowing a run on four hits over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out six and walked none. Declan Cronin was tagged with his second loss of the season out of the bullpen.

Orioles 4, Twins 2

Albert Suarez started for Baltimore, striking out four over 5 2/3 scoreless innings. He surrendered just three hits, while not walking any batters.

Jacob Webb was charged with a blown save out of the pen. Craig Kimbrel picked up his third win and lowered his ERA to 1.13 after pitching a scoreless ninth inning.

Pablo Lopez struck out seven over six innings in his start for Minnesota. He allowed a run on two hits, while walking none. Steven Okert was charged with his second blown save, and Griffin Jax took his second loss after allowing two runs in the bottom of the ninth.

Rangers 5, Tigers 4

Dane Dunning started and allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out five along the way.

David Robertson was charged with his second blown save, while Kirby Yates earned his second win after striking out four batters across 1 1/3 innings.

Tarik Skubal started for Detroit, striking out six over 6 1/3 innings. He allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk. Skubal’s ERA is 2.28 so far. Shelby Miller lost his first game after allowing a run in the top of the ninth.

Brewers 1, Padres 0

Milwaukee pitchers allowed just five hits in a combined shutout. Bryse Wilson started and got the first 11 outs before Bryan Hudson worked 2 1/3 innings. Elvis Peguero and Abner Uribe each worked out of trouble in their innings of work, with Uribe getting the win after Milwaukee scored in the eighth. 

Joel Payamps earned his second save after a 1-2-3 ninth inning - he can be streamed, as he now looks to be the closer.

Michael King took an extremely tough loss for San Diego. He struck out 10 over 7 2/3 innings. He allowed two hits and two walks. Wandy Peralta relieved him and allowed an inherited runner to score. King has a 3.33 ERA this season.

Mets 9, Pirates 1

Luis Severino earned his second win after allowing an unearned run over six innings. Severino surrendered five hits and three walks, while striking out four. He’s got a 2.14 ERA this season.

Bailey Falter took the loss on the mound, but only allowed two runs over five innings. He surrendered four hits and a walk while striking out four.

The Pirates’ bullpen gave up the final seven runs, with David Bednar seeing his ERA jump to 13.50 after allowing three runs in 2/3 of an inning.

Braves 5, Astros 4 (10 inn.)

Max Fried started and pitched five innings for Atlanta. He allowed three runs on seven hits and four walks, while striking out two. A.J. Minter got his third win of the season out of the pen, while Raisel Iglesias worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his fifth save.

Houston’s J.P. France started and allowed two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out four batters. Ryan Pressly was charged with a blown save and now has a 9.45 ERA, while Seth Martinez eventually took the loss.

Yankees 6, Blue Jays 4

Marcus Stroman started for New York and allowed two runs on six hits and two walks over 5 1/3 innings, while striking out two. Victor Gonzalez earned his first win out of the pen, while Clay Holmes worked a scoreless ninth for his seventh save already.

Kevin Gausman looked pretty good in his start for Toronto, allowing a run on four hits and three walks over five innings, while striking out six. Erik Swanson took the loss, while Tim Mayza got a blown save.

Nationals 2, Dodgers 0

Jake Irvin was dominant over six scoreless innings for Washington, allowing just four hits and a walk. Irvin struck out six while earning his first win, and now has a 3.13 ERA this season.

Kyle Finnegan earned his seventh save after a 1-2-3 ninth inning.

Landon Knack took the loss for LA, allowing two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings. Knack struck out four batters.

Athletics 6, Cardinals 3

Paul Blackburn moved to 2-0 after allowing three runs on six hits and five walks over 5 2/3 innings. Blackburn struck out seven and now has a 1.08 ERA.

Mason Miller picked up his fourth save of the season after striking out two in the ninth.

Steven Matz took the loss for St. Louis, giving up five runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings, while striking out four.

Cubs 5, Diamondbacks 3

Jordan Wicks started for Chicago and struck out five over 4 1/3 innings. He gave up two runs on five hits and a walk. Hayden Wesneski got his first win out of the pen.

Brandon Pfaadt took the loss after allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits over seven innings. He struck out six batters while walking none.

Mariners 5, Reds 1

Bryce Miller moved to 3-1 after striking out seven batters over six frames. He gave up a run on one hit and a walk. Miller has a 1.85 ERA this season.

Andrew Abbott took the loss after striking out six over six innings. He allowed two runs on four hits and three walks, but will carry a 2.70 ERA into his next start.

Phillies 7, Rockies 6

Cristopher Sanchez got his first win after striking out 10 batters over six innings. He gave up an unearned run on five hits and a walk.

Jose Alvarado got his third save after getting the final three outs.

Ryan Feltner took the loss after allowing six runs on nine hits and two walks. He struck out eight over 5 1/3 innings.

Angels 5, Rays 4

Reid Detmers was good again for Los Angeles, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits and a walk over 5 1/3 innings. Detmers struck out four and now has a 1.19 ERA.

Hunter Strickland was charged with a blown save, but got the win after LA scored twice in the ninth.

Zack Littell started for Tampa Bay, allowing three runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out seven and walked none and now has a 2.14 ERA.

Pete Fairbanks was charged with a blown save and his second loss after allowing the ninth-inning runs.

Red Sox 2, Guardians 0

Tanner Houck struck out nine in a complete game shutout for Boston. He moved to 3-1 and has a 1.35 ERA after surrendering just three hits in the contest.

Ben Lively took the loss, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk over five innings, while striking out seven.
