November 8 Fantasy Basketball Streamers: Santi Aldama, Isaiah Stewart, Grant Williams and More
Five NBA teams with good matchups on Friday and the rotation players on those teams who are widely available in fantasy leagues.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are the only undefeated team remaining, sitting at 9-0. The difference in games played over a full season really stands out when comparing them to the NFL’s only undefeated team, the 8-0 Kansas City Chiefs.
While the Chiefs are close to locking up a playoff spot and cruising to a division title, the Cavs just have a nice start with 70+ games remaining. Kansas City has played half their season, and Cleveland has only played around 10%; there’s a long way to go.
Let’s look at five NBA teams with good matchups on Friday and the rotation players on those teams who are widely available in fantasy leagues. I try not to list injured players, but always check actives/inactives before game time to ensure that everyone in your lineup is playing.
All stats are from NBA.com.
Charlotte Hornets vs. Indiana Pacers
Indiana has the eighth-worst defense, and while they just miss the top 10 in pace (13th), they are essentially tied with the back end of the top 10. That’s close enough to call the Pacers a good matchup.

Detroit Pistons vs. Atlanta Hawks
Atlanta has played at the third-fastest pace and has the fifth-worst defensive rating. The Hawks have been most vulnerable allowing points to point guards and small forwards.

Center
- Isaiah Stewart – Jalen Duren might be out or limited, which would open more minutes for Stewart in this one.
Memphis Grizzlies vs. Washington Wizards
Washington ranks second in pace and has the sixth-worst defensive rating. Guards and centers have been most effective scoring against the Wizards.

- Scotty Pippen Jr.
- Luke Kennard – Kennard made his season debut on Wednesday after missing the first eight games.
Forward
Center
- Santi Aldama – Aldama looks like a keeper, especially if he’s eligible at center in your league. He’s first on his team in minutes and rebounds and makes more than one three-pointer per game.
New York Knicks vs. Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks were in the top-10 pace/bottom-10 defense group for the past week-plus, but they have gotten right to the outskirts. They might be more of a middling matchup than truly good, but we’ll still target them today.
Milwaukee is playing at the 10th-fastest pace with the 12th-worst defensive rating.

Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Lakers
LA has been the ninth-fastest team and owns the third-worst defense. Anthony Davis being out with injury will only hurt the Lakers’ defense.
