Kyle Filipowski Fantasy Outlook
Filipowski has turned things on of late for the Jazz. He’s logged over 23 minutes in the past three games, which has his own percentage on the rise. He’s seen a 4.81% increase, bringing his overall own percentage up to 35.31.
On the season, Filipowski has played 166 minutes over 10 games. He’s made 30 of his 52 field goal attempts and scored 73 points. He also has 17 assists, 43 rebounds, three steals, two blocks and 11 turnovers to his name.
Over the past three games, Filipowski has combined for 40 points, 10 assists, 18 rebounds, two steals and blocks and four turnovers. That’s enough fantasy production for him to be added in deeper leagues and dynasties. A couple more strong games could see him get some adds in standard leagues, so keep a very close eye on him.
De'Andre Hunter Fantasy Outlook
Hunter has only played in two games this season, but is set to hit the court on Friday. His own percentage fell over the recent weeks, but it’s risen 3.27% and sits at 47.86% overall now.
In his first game of the season, Hunter had 12 points, six rebounds, two steals, an assist and no turnovers across 25 minutes. He had 24 points, seven boards, three assists, a block and no turnovers across 33 minutes in his other game.
He dealt with a knee injury and also missed games for a personal reason, so he might not immediately play a ton of minutes or be super effective.
Hunter is a good fantasy option though, and should be scooped up in a bunch of leagues - he was at 60% rostered before sitting out, and should at least get back to that point by the start of next week. Scoop him up if you can.
Malik Beasley Fantasy Outlook
Beasley has enjoyed a good start to the season, and with some of the injuries the Pistons are dealing with, Beas should continue to be a good streaming fantasy option at the very least. He’s seen a 3.2% increase to his own percentage, which now sits at 28.49%.
He’s played in 13 games and logged 364 minutes so far. He’s made 62 of his 162 field goal attempts and scored 180 points. Beasley has 38 rebounds, 23 assists, eight steals, one block and 20 turnovers as well.
He’s mostly just a scorer for fantasy purposes, but he’s at least able to add a few other fantasy points with boards, assists, steals and blocks every night. Beasley has scored over 20 points in three of the past four games, and played over 30 minutes in all of those games.
At the very least, give Beasley an add in deeper leagues. He’s playing a ton and producing enough to provide a short-term boost. I also think he works as a streaming option in standard leagues if you have a roster spot to play with. I’d try to utilize him in the most favorable matchups.
Kris Dunn Fantasy Outlook
Dunn has seen an increase in his usage after the Clippers put him in the starting lineup. A 3.16% own increase has Dunn at 18.8% overall now.
Across 12 games and 263 minutes, Dunn has 87 points, 47 rebounds, 38 assists, 12 steals, two blocks and 11 turnovers. He’s made 35 of his 63 shot attempts. In the past three games combined, Dunn has combined for 27 points, 16 assists, three steals, 11 rebounds and two turnovers.
Playing time and more opportunities are always a good thing for a fantasy player, and that’s what’s propping Dunn up right now. He should continue to get added in more and more deep leagues as the games roll by. I don’t think he’ll ever be a standard league option, but he’s one to monitor at the very least.
Marcus Smart Fantasy Outlook
Smart is another guy who has already dealt with injuries and missed games this season. A 2.68% increase to his own percentage has him at 35.31% overall now.
Across six games, Smart has played 120 minutes (he’s played between 20-26 minutes in games he finished). He has 43 points, 20 assists, 13 rebounds, seven steals, four blocks and 11 turnovers. In his return to the court on November 13, Smart had 15 points, six assists, two rebounds, a block and steal and four turnovers across 22 minutes.
Smart deserves to be rostered in more leagues, and should see an increase to his own percentage as people realize he’s back on the court. He’s a good deep-league option, and can be useful in standard leagues if your roster has an open spot to play with.
